Timeform Comments

Lermoos Legend
Won twice during the middle part of 2025 and knocking on the door in recent weeks, runner-up for the third time in a row at Fontwell 2 weeks ago, clear of the rest. Eased 1 lb so should be bang there again.
Quick Sharpener (IRE)
Unreliable type who lost way last season. Presented with a very soft opening when winning a match at Hereford (21f) in May and while he finished tailed off at Worcester (23f) next time, he got back on track to an extent when third of 4 after a breathing operation at Newton Abbot. Cheekpieces added.
Melton Mossy (IRE)
Five-time hurdles winner who struck at the second time of asking over fences in 3-runner Wincanton handicap in March. Better than bare facts of Worcester run 2 months later but he's never been one for maximum faith as was never a factor at Newton Abbot down at 2m 4 weeks ago. Back up in distance.
Mr Rafiki (IRE)
Made more impact than previously when second of 5 in a Worcester maiden hurdle (23f) in July. That was a thin race however and he got no further than the first sent handicapping over fences at Uttoxeter 3 weeks ago.
Imperial Bede (FR)
Scored at Catterick (19f) last season but has failed to convince with his finishing effort on the whole since, Cheekpieces again left off but he is back on his last winning mark, which may prompt an upturn in his fortunes.
Another Folly (FR)
Put experience to good use when off the mark at Stratford (23f) last autumn. Mostly respectable efforts since, albeit he did carry his head awkwardly at Warwick in May. Off since.
Two To Tango
Fitted with cheekpieces when finally getting off the mark over 19f here in March. Placed in 3 of 4 starts since small-field races at up to this trip and he's now back on that winning mark.
Premier Fantasy (IRE)
Multiple point winner who has been expensive to follow under Rules so far, albeit 5 placed efforts from 6 starts confirms he's a consistent performer. Clear of the rest at Plumpton 2 weeks ago and he can win from this sort of mark.
Bahtiyar (FR)
Long-standing maiden who was held back by his jumping at Sedgefield 3 weeks ago. Tongue tie back on and opposable from out of the weights, even from this basement mark.
