NOBLE JOURNEY has a year-long absence to overcome but he's in expert hands and it may well be telling that William Buick rides him in preference to the standard-setting stablemate Pursuit of Love. Allaire will relish this trip and is the obvious other contender.

Frankel colt. Dam smart 1¼m-12.5f winner who stayed 15.5f, won Prix Vermeille. Promising fourth of 7 in maiden at Newmarket (1m) in October 2025 and built on that when landing the odds at Chelmsford (1¼m) 12 days later. Off since but very interesting William Buick has selected him.
Pursuit Of Love
Brother to very smart 1¼m-1½m winner Fanny Logan. Landed the odds on debut in the manner of a useful prospect at Southwell in late-February. That form has been franked but he was disappointing on turf at Haydock (1½m) 2 months later. Opening run sets the standard and he's been gelded.
Circle Of Secrets (FR)
Minor promise only over hurdles and on the level.
Katana (FR)
Modest maiden hurdler who will surely lack the speed/class for this on Flat debut.
Paniolo Creek
Showed slightly more than on debut when fifth of 7 at Lingfield (1m) but he's a handicap project.
O'driscoll (IRE)
20,000 gns yearling, Ghaiyyath gelding. Dam unraced half-sister to high-class winner up to 1½m Best Solution and very smart 2-y-o 7f-1¼m winner (stayed 1½m) El Bodegon. Upped to 11f and left a low-key debut behind when mid-field at Southwell 9 days ago.
Allaire
Half-sister to St Leger winner Eldar Eldarov. Only beaten by useful types at Lingfield/Newbury before being found out in listed company at the latter track in May. Failed to land the odds back in a maiden at Leicester 2 weeks ago but this trip will surely suit and she receives weight all round.
