Timeform View

EXTRATERRESTRIAL and Sax Avoidance dominated a C&D handicap 3 weeks ago and they may well come to the fore again, with the former tentatively selected to reverse the placings. Of the rest, Sea Brave is a potential improver on handicap debut up in distance.

Timeform Comments

Sea Brave (IRE)
Well bred and promising start when second of 9 at Chelmsford in December. Not in the same form twice since having missed 8 months but he's in very capable hands and goes up in distance for handicap debut.
Sax Avoidance (IRE)
Showed more when third at Lingfield on qualifying run before finding chunk of improvement to cause a shock in a 10-runner event on handicap debut at Salisbury (1¼m, soft) Showed a willing attitude when following up over C&D 3 weeks ago (by neck from Extraterrestrial). Bold hat-trick bid incoming.
Impossible Mission
Value for extra when doubling his tally in a solid-looking 1¼m handicap at Windsor, overcoming trouble in running to score by ½-length in a sprint finish. 11.5f looked to just stretch him back there in August and given a short break.
Fahidi (IRE)
Matched the form of his 2 juvenile outings when fourth of 9 in maiden at Yarmouth (1m) in April, still looking a shade rough around the edges. Did plenty wrong on handicap debut fitted with cheekpieces a month later and leading yard gelded him ahead of return/all-weather debut.
Lucky Luna (IRE)
Got off the mark in 7f maiden at Salisbury in June and resumed progress when runner-up in 6-runner handicap at Wolverhampton (9.5f) last month. Plugged on for fifth at Newbury (1¼m) and slight step up in trip will help her cause.
Extraterrestrial (IRE)
Runner-up for the third time when finding only Sax Avoidance a neck too good in handicap over C&D 21 days ago, clear of rest in what was a big personal best. 3 lb rise could be lenient.
St Hilda (IRE)
Runner-up in maiden/novice company during the spring but form has levelled off at up to 13f.
Enamorus (IRE)
Placed all 3 starts at 2 yrs and produced best effort to date in first-time cheekpieces when third of 9 in handicap at Beverley (8.5f) in July. Possibly not 100% when well held at Sandown later that month and back on track to an extent at Redcar. Visor replaces cheekpieces upped further in trip.
Katalyst
Seen to good effect when shedding maiden status over C&D 4 weeks ago. Up 2 lb but doesn't appeal as an obvious follow-up contender.
