Shaped well when a debut second in 7f Newcastle novice last November but hasn't really kicked on since, even under a change of tactics last time. Tongue strap goes back on.
Creciente
Winner of a classified event over 7f on the turf at Lingfield in July and then beaten a nose second at that C&D back in handicap company next time. Wasn't seen to best effect on all-weather there last time but place claims if bouncing back.
Who Is Alice
Ran well taking on her elders for the first time when third in 1m Bath handicap last month, otherwise her season has been more miss than hit for this yard. Others preferred.
Ridger (IRE)
Made an encouraging start in handicaps when a close third at Leicester and built on that with a 3¼ lengths success from Saisons D'or in 11-runner race (8/11) at Wolverhampton (7f) 7 days ago. A 6-lb penalty may not be enough to stop him from following up.
Lady V (IRE)
Lightly-raced maiden who's yet to better just poor form in 5 starts.
Squashy Berry
Finished well held on each of his 4 starts to date and can only be watched switched to handicaps. First-time cheekpieces are added.
