Timeform View

NARRJOO matched the form of his promising debut second when going one place better in a small-field Ffos Las maiden in August and appealing as the type to improve further, not least now his stamina is tested further, he makes most appeal under a penalty. Beloved Country has shown plenty in a pair of well-contested events and he may well emerge as the chief threat.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Narrjoo traded at a high of 6.60 and Betfair SP of 2.20 when winning last time, a race in which it led.

Timeform Comments

Narrjoo (IRE)
Well-bred type who only needed to match the form of his promising Doncaster debut second when getting off the mark in a Ffos Las maiden (7.4f) in August. Looks the type to do better again, with this step up in trip a plus, and bold showing anticipated.
Beloved Country
Camelot colt who has displayed ability at long odds both starts, albeit not threatening for win purposes when seventh of 10 in a Doncaster maiden (1m) 23 days ago. Certainly appeals as the type to do better again and fancied to be thereabouts.
Canvas Power (IRE)
Foaled April 28. Cracksman gelding. Closely related to 1¼m winner Hosanna Power and half-brother to several winners, including smart winner up to 16.6f Mildenberger. Dam 1½m-2m winner. Stable's newcomers usually better for a run and longer trips will surely be more his bag down the line.
Magwitch
550,000 gns Night of Thunder colt. Down the field in valuable York maiden (7f) on debut in August and whilst he was more alert from the stalls, he probably did too much too soon when again well held at Ayr 18 days ago. Likely type for handicaps in due course.
Too Darn Regal (IRE)
Too Darn Hot half-brother to 2-y-o 1m winner Familiar. 40/1, went with only a little encouragement when eighth of 11 in a class 3 Ascot maiden (7f) on debut 31 days ago. This promises to reveal more but likely to find a couple too good.
