Timeform View

Hard to make a compelling case for any of these but SOUTH KENSINGTON is more than capable from this mark if on a going day so is awarded the vote in the hope there's a sound pace for her to chase. Rainbow Sign and King of The Dance are potential threats.

Timeform Comments

Panama Black (IRE)
Low-key start for this yard during the spring, including first start over 1¼m. Lower turf mark is justified.
Thestral
A fair 7f scorer (albeit not straightforward) for Hugo Palmer who signed off for that yard with a good third at Wetherby in June. Not in same form in 3 starts for this stable, though.
South Kensington (IRE)
Recorded a first success for present stable this season in handicap at Southwell in May. Right back on her game when runner-up at Lingfield but back on turf, she was never a factor at Redcar. Back up slightly in trip and dangerous if getting a pace to aim at.
Venetian Romance (IRE)
Second over 7f here in June but well held in 2 outings for new stable since.
Scarfo (IRE)
Won at Chepstow in June and has pretty much held his form since, sticking on at the one pace when fifth on heavy ground at Ffos Las last week.
King Of The Dance (IRE)
Kept busy this year and off the mark for the season at Ffos Las last month, all out. Not in the same form under a penalty despite finishing third back there last week.
Birkie Boy (IRE)
Has paid his way at Les Landes again this summer, winning twice but he's normally opposable in races on the mainland.
Celtic Spirit
Found his run of good form coming to a halt in recent weeks so bounce back called for.
Rainbow Sign
Scored here this time last year and has made the frame on several occasions more recently, shaping as though still in good form over C&D a month ago. Can be a factor.
Turpin
Remains a maiden, his issues at the stalls not helping his cause of late.
Outrace (IRE)
Placed at Bath last spring but more miss than hit since, albeit drop to classified company helped his cause when third over further here in August.
