MY MATE MACKLEY and Candy Warhol filled the first 2 positions in a C&D handicap last week and it would be no surprise were that to happen again. Beach Partee can also go well for Scott Dixon, while Everydaysasaturday needs a check in the market.

Is 0-15 and latest Windsor run was a big backward step after finishing placed on 4 of 5 starts prior to that. This is the weakest band of handicap he's contested, though.
Candy Warhol (USA)
On a long losing sequence but several good in-frame efforts to his name, giving a good account from the front when length second of 8 to My Mate Mackley in handicap over C&D 8 days ago. Blinkers replace usual cheekpieces and he should be bang there.
Ken Brulee
Fitted with cheekpieces when getting off the mark at Lingfield in May and returned to a similar level when making all at Chepstow (6f) in August. Unable to continue the good work twice since.
My Mate Mackley
Usual cheekpieces back on and proved better than ever when winning 8-runner handicap over C&D 8 days ago by length from Candy Warhol. That was a third win and this consistent sort is a must for the shortlist.
Everydaysasaturday (IRE)
Low-key starts in handicaps for Declan Carroll at up to 7f. Left that yard and interesting to see what Tony Carroll can do with him. Market will be useful.
Beach Partee
Won 3 times as a juvenile (including here). Yet to score as a 3-y-o but arrives on the back of a quartet of creditable efforts. Can remain competitive.
Stapleford Park
Sole victory came back in 2024 for Charlie Fellowes. Best effort for this stable when second at Lingfield in March but below form in his 5 subsequent outings.
Valadero (IRE)
Belatedly off the mark in a 7f classified event at this track in August. Sound-enough second at that level back over 6f at Yarmouth but slightly more on his plate returned to a handicap.
Fai Fai
Brighton regular who enters the reckoning on a series of placed efforts in 2025. Yet to get going this season, however.
Real Gold
Third at Kempton in March but little to recommend since, albeit latest Lingfield run isn't a race to judge her harshly on.
