In the hope he can break on terms this time, DONTSPOILASALE is taken to cash in on what is a very handy mark. Diomed Spirit and Roman Spring have plenty of C&D wins between them and head the opposition.

Timeform Comments

Duskaura (IRE)
Bagged an uncontested lead on the rail when taking advantage of a falling mark at Lingfield (6f) in July. Slow start didn't help her cause when below form here next time but also needs to cast aside another lesser effort at Sandown.
Cayman Tai (IRE)
Free-going sort who doubled his tally at Southwell in May (5f). Not easy to catch right since however, having dropped to that winning mark, he stuck to his task well when third of 7 over the aforementioned C&D 12 days ago.
Zoustar Dreams
Registered a third success of 2026 at Nottingham (5f) in July but seemed anchored by revised mark in a quartet of starts since on turf/all-weather. Way she stuck to it at Sandown 3 weeks ago suggests this sharp 5f may not be ideal.
Alkuwarrior (IRE)
Transformed by first-time cheekpieces when doubling his tally in 8-runner event at Ffos Las (5f, soft) in June but hasn't reproduced that level in 6 subsequent starts.
Dontspoilasale (IRE)
Multiple 5f/6f winner in Ireland. Being brought along gradually since joining this yard and caught the eye when seventh of 11 in 7f handicap at Lingfield last month. Blew the start at Kempton and that is a worry but he's of serious interest from this mark.
Diomed Spirit
Returned to form for new yard of late, runner-up in a big-field 6f handicap here flanked by C&D victories. Had a bit up his sleeve latterly so major player after latest 4 lb rise.
Sandscreendeliverd
Placed 4 times this season but last trio of efforts have not been good, failing to exploit a drop in grade at Windsor 3 weeks ago after dwelling at the start. Assessor giving him every chance.
Secret Handsheikh
Off the mark for the year at Chepstow in June and quickly resumed winning ways here in August, his fifth C&D success. However, undone by revised mark since.
Roman Spring (IRE)
Back to front-running tactics when landing 11-runner handicap at Windsor and had the race sewn up a fair way out when following up over C&D last week. Penalty makes life harder but dangerous if getting into another nice rhythm.
