INTHENICKOFTIME made it 2 wins from 2 starts at this course when taking a big-field handicap last month and the runner-up has already franked that form. He makes plenty of appeal. Hello Garda and Just For One can also make their presence felt.

Timeform Comments

Inthenickoftime (IRE)
Built on promise of previous run when winning 20-runner handicap hurdle over similar trip at this course last month. 7 lb higher now but looks sure to go well again.
Grandy Lane (IRE)
Runner-up in a Sligo maiden hurdle for Ian Patrick Donoghue and also second in a bumper at Clonmel on his first 2 starts. However, his progress has since stalled and he shaped as if amiss when last seen at Wexford in May. Bit to prove now.
Quint Major (IRE)
Fairly useful bumper winner in 2024. Below that level over hurdles but took a step back in the right direction when fifth of 11 in handicap over similar trip at Cork last time. Capable of being involved.
Figero (IRE)
Opened account over hurdles at Kilbeggan in May but failed to build on that since and arrives on back of poor effort on Flat. Tongue strap on first time.
Just For One (IRE)
Career best when winning 16-runner handicap hurdle at Tramore (2m, good to soft, 14/1) in April. Raised 6 lb since but will be dangerous if ready to roll on return.
Jay Jay Zee (IRE)
Showed nothing back from a long absence in either start this year and can only be watched here.
Tradonthebay (IRE)
Still looking for first success but has found improvement over longer trips in handicaps this season. Feasibly treated if bouncing back from a below-par effort at Sligo.
Bowgate Street (IRE)
Belatedly opened account at Sligo in May and on another going day when third in big-field handicap at Kilbeggan last month. Not the most consistent, though, and underperformed at Navan last time. Others preferred.
Kelly's Cosmos (IRE)
Eleven-race maiden who has yet to fire this season and makes limited appeal despite figuring off a potentially attractive mark.
Hello Garda (IRE)
Off the mark at Uttoxeter (2m) in July and improved on that when excellent fourth of 11 in juvenile hurdle (11/1) at Listowel (2m, good) 16 days ago. Goes handicapping now and may have more to offer.
Max Time (IRE)
Sole success from 40 starts came here in 2024 but has rarely threatened since. Hard to enthuse over from 12 lb out of the handicap.
