Having turned a C&D handicap into a one-sided affair last month, MOONSHINE GIRL hadn't been fully asked for her effort when slipping up at Listowel 11 days ago. Returned to this venue, she can get back on the up. Fire Coral won that aforementioned race and she will doubtless give it another good go, while Western Shores is a potential improver for her leading yard.

Much improved since joining current yard, winning Ballinrobe handicap in July before defying an 11 lb rise in a 3m event at Roscommon in August by 5½ lengths from Mavetherave. Has failed to complete both starts since and suddenly has questions to answer.
Tir Og (IRE)
Won 3 times in the first half of last season and stopped the slide with cheekpieces applied when fourth of 12 in handicap hurdle at Downpatrick (19f) in June. Unable to match that at Kilbeggan since and she's not the force of 2025/26 at present.
Fire Coral
Likeable mare who deservedly got off the mark for the season at Listowel 11 days ago, better than ever in the process. 8 lb rise does make life hard but she won back-to-back races last season.
Grace Faraday (IRE)
Temperamental sort but dropped to last previous winning mark and seen to good effect when landing big-field handicap here a month ago (2¾m). Overall profile doesn't mark her out as an obvious follow-up contender for all she was second in this last year.
Western Shores (IRE)
Signs of ability in her qualifying runs, again shaping like a stayer when fifth at Kilbeggan a month ago. Back up in trip for handicap debut and she likely has a bigger effort in her.
Moonshine Girl (IRE)
Found improvement in first-time blinkers when readily winning 19-runner C&D handicap hurdle last month. Runner-up that day successful since and wasn't out of it when slipping up at Listowel 11 days ago. This mark is within range.
Isdistheone (IRE)
Scope from this lowly mark on her bumper form but tongue tied, has failed to meet market expectations both starts in handicaps. Hood now added.
