HE'S OUR CRACKER had a bit up his sleeve when resuming winning ways at Newcastle last week and is fancied to follow up under a penalty at the chief expense of Risen Again who could bounce back now sporting cheekpieces again. Fleur de Mer is a very long time without a victory but weighted to go well if shrugging off a lesser effort at Catterick.

Timeform Comments

He's Our Cracker (IRE)
Got off the mark at Chelmsford (1¼m) in March. Doubled his tally after a break in refitted cheekpieces (retained) in 9-runner handicap at Newcastle (1¼m) 4 days ago. Scored cosily there so he holds very good claims under a penalty.
Risen Again (FR)
Back in good form for his current yard when twice runner-up at Yarmouth and Chepstow in August. Blinkers replaced cheekpieces worn there when only ninth of 10 in handicap at Bath (1m, good to soft) last time. Could bounce with cheekpieces now refitted.
Revelio
Best effort when runner-up at Lingfield (1¼m) in June but has failed to build on it since, fifth of 11 in handicap at Haydock (11.5f, good to soft) last time. More needed on his all-weather debut in a first-time visor.
Norflondonforever (IRE)
Got off the mark at Kempton (1m) last April. Has steadily found his form again after a 13-month absence and posted a solid fourth of 12 in handicap at Wolverhampton (9.5f) 3 weeks ago. Not dismissed off a slipping mark.
Fleur De Mer (IRE)
Winless since 2023. Best run this season when second at Newcastle in August but only fifth of 6 in handicap at Catterick (1¾m, good) since. Handily weighted if back on her A-game.
Spec Of Light
Runner-up over C&D in February and one of his better efforts since when third of 9 back over C&D 19 days ago. Player if building on that with Gina Mangan back up replacing amateur.
Highfield Comrade
Gained a first win over C&D in January. In good form on all-weather after but came in last of 12 at Beverley (1½m, good) in April and off the track since. Has won off a break though so no forlorn hope.
Beat The Odds
Limited-looking maiden who failed to get home in 1½m handicap at Wolverhampton in August. Hard to fancy here.
Rajawail
Remains a maiden after 31 runs and she came in last of 10 in handicap at Newcastle (1¼m) 4 days ago.
