The return to all-weather with cheekpieces back on should see TIMELY AFFAIR quickly back on his game so he's awarded the vote to improve his already impressive strike rate for one of his ability. Stall 1 may not be ideal if Silver Trumpet blows the start again but he's a huge threat at this level, with Caragio also of interest.

Last 2 wins gained on firm ground at Epsom a year apart, latterly in 6-runner contests in July from 2 lb lower. Runner-up twice since at that venue and very dangerous at this level if breaking anywhere near on terms.
Arantes Nascimento
Versatile sort who is holding his form really well this year. Runner-up 5 times either side of his C&D success in April. Hampered at the start at Lingfield in August so that run probably best overlooked.

Lightly-raced sort who posted a career best when getting off the mark in 7-runner handicap at Southwell (7f) in April. Too free under a penalty here a week later and given a break after a heavy defeat on turf in June.

Turned in her best effort of the season on debut for new yard when second of 7 in handicap at Brighton (7f, good) in August. Held back by a sluggish start at Epsom 4 weeks ago and now returns to all-weather.
Lady Manzor
All 3 wins on all-weather early last year. Arrives in reasonable heart this season, making the frame for the fifth consecutive start when third of 6 at Lingfield before shaping as though still in form back here (1m) 4 weeks ago. Cheekpieces back on dropped in distance.
Caragio (IRE)
Confirmed stable debut promise when winning 6-runner handicap at Yarmouth (6f) in April. Below that level in 2 outings at the start of the summer but right back on his game the last twice, third of 12 returned to 7f at Southwell 11 days ago. Enters calculations with eyeshields fitted.
Strike
Capitalised on reduced mark when gaining a first success in nearly 2 years at Newbury in July. Met trouble at Newmarket before a respectable effort at Windsor 3 weeks ago. Placed from 2 lb higher last all-weather start over C&D a year ago.
Timely Affair
Has enjoyed a productive campaign, making it 4 wins for the year when making all on all-weather at Lingfield in August. Didn't see it out over 1m back on turf 3 weeks ago but the cheekpieces are back on here returned to 7f/all-weather, so much better expected.
