ALPINARA looked a useful prospect when beating a couple of subsequent winners at Doncaster back in June so she looks the one to beat under a penalty. Yamnah was a big eyecatcher first-time out at Windsor and can offer most resistance.

Timeform Comments

Alpinara
Frankel filly and a sister to the stable's high-class 1½m winner Alpinista. Left debut behind 8 months on when winning 5-runner maiden at Doncaster in June in good style. That form has been boosted since and she looks capable of defying a penalty.
Queen Of Scotland
Pinatubo filly who confirmed debut promise when landing the odds in Windsor maiden by 4½ lengths from Marquetry. Has more on her plate under a penalty but she remains with potential.
Perzaaneh
2,500 gns foal, Sir Percy filly. Half-sister to 8.3f winner Willard Creek and 1½m winner Double Oban, also winning hurdler. Dam 7f-8.6f winner. Offered little in Salisbury maiden.
Tralee Bay
Shaped well when second in a bumper at Worcester in July 2024 but not seen since.
Baba Ganoush
Well held both starts.
Hatta Romance (IRE)
Frankel filly who doesn't have the looks to match her pedigree, but she has shown ability both starts so far.
Marquetry (IRE)
Sottsass filly who was all the better for debut when 4½ lengths second of 7 to Queen of Scotland in maiden at Windsor. Entitled to finish closer to the winner on 7 lb better terms.
Saaffya
Masar filly. Closely related to useful 13.3f-16.2f winner Mobbhij and half-sister to several other winners, including very smart 1m-10.4f winner Sajjhaa. In need of the experience when fifth of 7 in Windsor maiden.
Yamnah (FR)
€300,000 foal, Pinatubo filly. Dam, unraced, closely related to very smart winner up to 10.5f Golden Lilac. Shaped as if in need of the experience when fourth in Windsor novice last month, hitting the line with plenty of running left. Can leave that run well behind in due course.
