An open sprint in which it could pay to side with KINIRO to bounce back in style off a lenient-looking mark now Oisin Murphy is back in the saddle and gain a third career victory on Polytrack. Madman is progressing well for his current handler and rates a big threat though, while polytrack debutants Charlie Boyo and Blue Orbit command respect too.

Timeform Comments

Kiniro
Winless this season but posted a good third over 7f here in August. Went too keenly when ninth of 14 at Newmarket (7f, good to firm) 18 days ago. Both his victories have come on this surface though so no surprise to see him go well off a handy-looking mark with Oisin Murphy back up.
Calling A Star
Doubled her tally for 2026 at Windsor in June. Only tenth of 11 in handicap over C&D last time. Bounce back is needed.
Madman
C&D winner for Tom Ward in January. On the up for his current yard and gained a third success of the summer in 12-runner handicap at Salisbury (6f, soft) 26 days ago. Up another 5 lb but scored comfortably there so a likely player with Billy Loughnane up.
Charlie Boyo (IRE)
Got off the mark in 6f handicap at Nottingham in July. Back on track with third of 9 in handicap at Bath 8 days ago. Much respected on polytrack debut.
King Of Chaos (IRE)
A 3-time winner on all-weather this year, latest at Wolverhampton (6f) in July. Below form more recently, though, so needs to take a big step forward.
An Outlaw's Grace (IRE)
Winless since debut in June 2024 but posted a good second at Windsor (6f) in August. Well below par in 6f handicaps at Goodwood and Southwell since, however,
Liosa (IRE)
Scored at Ripon (6f) in June but he came in last of 13 in handicap at Windsor (6f, good) 23 days ago. This C&D winner has a bit to prove now.
Goldwork
It's now eleven runs since last win in 2025 but arrives in decent nick, running up to best when fourth of 10 over C&D 4 weeks ago. Possibilities again turned out quickly.
Perfect Location
Much improved in first-time cheekpieces with success at Goodwood (6f) in June. Not disgraced given he didn't look fully at ease on track with sixth of 7 in handicap at Epsom (6f, good) last time. Visor goes on for first time.
Blue Orbit (IRE)
A fair 5f winner at 2yrs. Some creditable races this year for Dr Richard Newland & Jamie Insole and again for new yard in a first-time hood when seventh of 13 at Southwell (6f) 4 days ago. Not out of things on polytrack debut.
Up The Agenda (IRE)
Won 3 times on all-weather over the winter, including over C&D. Largely below par since returning from a break this summer and tried in blinkers for first time here.
Elvetham (IRE)
Gained a fourth all-weather win of 2026 in convincing style at Lingfield (5f) in September. Not best positioned (in centre of track) when sixth of 7 in handicap at Southwell (5f) 13 days ago. Can't be ruled out.
