Won twice on the turf course (1m5f/2m) at Lingfield last summer. Only twice raced this season and off since being pulled up over C&D in May. Has something to prove.
Luan (FR)
A dual all-weather winner for James Ferguson in the summer. Easily off the mark for his new yard in 7-runner handicap at Wolverhampton (1½m) 19 days ago. Not taken lightly despite a 7 lb weights hike.
Now The Eagle (FR)
Gained breakthrough success over C&D in April and bettered that form when second over C&D on next 2 outings. Unsuited by way race developed when fourth of 5 in handicap at Newmarket (2m, good to firm) last time. Remains one to be interested in back here off a handy-looking mark.
Vilaine Verlaine
Winless since December 2024. Good second over C&D but last of 5 in handicap at Newmarket (2m, good to firm) later in June. Needs to bounce back after a break.
Desert Belle
Landed Southwell novice in April and has held her form well in handicaps since, fourth of 12 over C&D in August. Ought to be thereabouts after a break.
Virtue Diligence
Bounced back to form when a 33/1-second in 13-runner handicap at Bath (13f, firm) 8 days ago. Not ruled out stepping up in trip in his bid for a maiden success.
Last Flight
On the up for her new yard and landed 2m handicaps at Ffos Las in August and Southwell 15 days ago. Up another 4 lb but very much one to consider in her hat-trick bid.
