Bumper winner ARMS PARK can make a successful start in this sphere with doubts surrounding chief threats Military Cross and John Galt.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Dunstall Star might not get things all its own way near the head of affairs but shouldn’t be held back by that alone: Despite a suspicion the pace will be sound, those held up such as Arms Park usually is are still likely to have their work cut out.

Timeform Comments

Arms Park
Half-brother to 4 winners, including useful hurdler Out of The Loop. Put his experience to good use when making all in Taunton bumper in March and rates an interesting hurdling debutant.
Dunstall Star
From a family the yard knows well and confirmed debut promise when getting up late in slowly-run Exeter bumper. Hurdles debut didn't go to plan but much more like it when second to Skelton hotpot at Warwick. Bit disappointing next time but worth another chance back from a break/breathing operation.
Popalot
Showed some ability in bumpers but yet to make an impact over hurdles.
Speechman (USA)
Poor on the Flat nowadays so makes no appeal sent hurdling.
Imperial Trooper (IRE)
Winner on the Flat though out of sorts in that sphere of late, including last time. Made little impression on hurdles bow but showed a lot more when third in novice at Worcester.
John Galt (FR)
Didn't look entirely straightforward on the Flat for Jamie Osborne but he did win a handicap in May. Ran to a similar level when third of 6 at Newton Abbot on hurdles bow but that form has taken some knocks.
Military Cross (IRE)
Placed all 7 starts on the Flat for the Gosdens. Too free on stable debut but this half-brother to high-class hurdler Wicklow Brave made a decent start in this sphere at Cartmel when chasing home a subsequent 2-time winner.
Palavar (IRE)
Showed some ability on the Flat for a couple of different yards but offered little both starts over hurdles in the spring.
Mia Sunshine (GER)
Won twice at around 1m on the Flat for Francis-Henri Graffard last year. Looked an expensive purchase when well held on yard debut at Windsor but she did offer something to work on sent hurdling over C&D last month, not getting home after racing freely.
