Timeform View

KING CHERRY seemed well suited by the switch to front-running tactics over this sprint trip when winning at Kempton last week and can follow up under a penalty. Asadjumeirah looks the main danger on recent form, though it's been a while since he's tackled turf, with Golden Prosperity taken to round out the 1-2-3.

Timeform Comments

King Cherry (IRE)
Revitalised by the application of a hood/drop to a sprint trip when making all in a 11-runner handicap at Kempton (6f) 7 days ago. Carries a penalty now but that rated as a career best and he has to be on the shortlist again.
The Feminine Urge (IRE)
Without a win for current yard this season but went close from career-low mark when second of 8 at Bath (good to firm) at the start of last month. Consistency has never been her strong suit, though, and she was down the field there 24 days ago.
My Dad Tom (IRE)
Runner-up in a C&D nursery around this time last year but hasn't threatened this season, 10½ lengths ninth of 11 to King Cherry in handicap at Kempton (6f, 66/1) 7 days ago.
Bleep Test
Won a 6f Redcar maiden last season but hasn't offered much this year and easy to oppose again.
Rambuso Creek (IRE)
Ended a very long losing run in 9-runner classified event over C&D in June but not quite in the same form when fifth of 9 in handicap (11/8) at Carlisle (6f, good) 4 days later, albeit posted deep on the track. Others make more appeal after 114 days off.
Hidden Verse (IRE)
Successful twice on turf last season but it hasn't clicked in 2026, failing to revive despite having fallen below his last winning mark when eighth of 12 in handicap at Wolverhampton (6f) 22 days ago.
Imagine That
Modest maiden handicapper turned in her best effort of the campaign when fifth of 12 at Southwell (6f, 12/1) 15 days ago. More needed if she's to get off the mark here, though.
Golden Harvest
Lightly-raced maiden who wasn't seen to best effect when fourth of 12 in handicap at Southwell (6f) last month, not enjoying the smoothest of passages. Still lightly raced in handicaps and isn't discounted from a 2 lb lower mark.
Drish Samphire (IRE)
Sprang a 50/1 surprise to get off the mark in a 6f classified event at Thirsk in August. Raced on the wrong side of the track at Redcar next time and she's not ruled out of making more of an impact than previously in handicap company.
Asadjumeirah
In great form on all-weather this summer, winning twice over 6f at Newcastle and finishing runner-up in a 10-runner handicap over that C&D 18 days ago. Raced only once on turf in the past year but he'd be very dangerous from this lower mark if able to translate his form to this surface.
Golden Prosperity (IRE)
Winner back in the spring and returned to form back down in trip when a close fourth of 8 at Pontefract (5f, good) 2 weeks ago. Backed that up with another creditable third of 10 at Catterick (6f, good to firm) 7 days ago, though doesn't tend to hold his form for too long.
Hope And Joy (IRE)
Has shown nothing in 4 runs to date in various headgear (hood back on here). Hard to fancy on handicap debut.
My Boy Jack
Losing run continues to mount up but ran one of this year's better races when ½-length third of 8 at Bath (5.7f) early last month and again plugged on from a long way back into fourth at that same C&D (17 ran) 24 days ago. Each-way claims but hard to see him scoring given his laboured run style.
Desert Master
It's now 32 races since his last win and though he wasn't disgraced when seventh of 12 in handicap at Newcastle (6f) 12 days ago, he's easy to oppose again for win purposes.
Nad Alshiba Snow (IRE)
Is 0-24 and didn't shape as if ready to shed her maiden tag when fifth of 8 in handicap at Pontefract (5f, good) 13 days ago.
Captain Bentley
80/1 winner of classified event at Chepstow in July 2025 but has made no impact in handicaps since.
