PIAZZA arrives better than ever and is taken to double her tally on the back of a very good Wolverhampton second when beaten just a head having been forced wide on the home turn. Lightly-raced Kempton winner Encore rates a big threat going into handicaps for the first time for William Haggas, while the consistent pair Korbut and Crafty Blue also need factoring in.

Korbut
Proving very consistent and gained a deserved breakthrough success in maiden at Ffos Las (7f) in August. Solid efforts back in handicap company since when second over 7f here and fifth of 10 at Wolverhampton (6f) 18 days ago. Ought to be in the shake-up once more.
Encore (FR)
Built on earlier promise (trained debut by Ed Walker) when readily landing the odds in 8-runner novice at Kempton (6f) 22 days ago. Well bred and goes into handicaps with more to offer after just 3 runs. Likely player.
Constant Star (IRE)
Successful in 7f Wolverhampton maiden in April. In and out since switched to handicaps since, coming in a below-par fifth of 9 at Wolverhampton (8.5f) when last seen in July. Visor goes on for first time after a break.
Piazza
Progressive sort who opened her account at Kempton (7f) in August and has finished runner-up at Yarmouth (1m) and Wolverhampton (7f) since, edged out only late on latter occasion having been forced wide home turn. Big shout off an unchanged mark.
Crafty Blue (IRE)
Doubled her tally in 6f handicap at Leicester in July. Has continued in good form, twice runner-up before fifth of 12 in handicap at Windsor (1m, good) 22 days ago. Holds solid claims.
Glorious Kitty (IRE)
Forward-going type who scored at Ayr (1m) and Carlisle (7f) in May. Rather in and out since though, only eighth of 11 in handicap at Ayr (1m, soft) 18 days ago.
Royale Union (IRE)
Made the frame for the third start running when fourth in 7f Catterick maiden in August. Beat only one however on handicap bow in 11-runner event at Ayr (1m, soft) 18 days ago so bounce back is needed.
Dream Illusion
Dual 1m winner here early in 2026. Good second at Wolverhampton (7f) in August but well held both runs since, ninth of 12 in 1m handicap here latest.
