Jessica Harrington's Listowel maiden victor The Austrian looks to have more to offer on his handicap debut and is the chief threat.

Built on considerable previous promise when comfortably landing the odds in 11-runner maiden at Listowel (1½m, good to soft) 17 days ago. Open to further progress now going handicapping. Interesting prospect.
Pierre Grosse
Fairly useful and consistent maiden. Rare poor run in a first-time tongue tie when last of 8 in handicap at Haydock (1¾m, soft) last month. The sort to bounce back.
Vantage Code (IRE)
Well backed and much improved in a first-time hood when a wide-margin winner of 1¾m handicap at Galway in July. Well held off a far higher mark in the Melrose at York and Listowel handicap subsequently, however.
Nermal (IRE)
Got off the mark on his handicap debut at Roscommon in June. Backed it up with a very good fourth at Galway next time but only a fair eighth of 14 in handicap at Dundalk last time. Not dismissed off a 2 lb lower mark.
Cladach (IRE)
Runner-up at Galway and Gowran (would have gone very close with a clear run) in September. Posted another solid effort in first-time cheekpieces off 6 lb higher when third of 10 in handicap at Killarney (1m, soft) 3 days ago. Takes a marked step up in trip and surely has a race in him.
