Timeform View

GLEN ECHO is steadily going the right way in handicaps, enhancing his form further when posting a very good second at Roscommon 38 days ago. He looks to hold solid claims of going one place better, with Red Glory who has developed into a fairly useful hurdler since last seen on the Flat another key player. Felicity Smoak and Max Meridius also make each-way appeal.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Glen Echo traded at a low of 2.80 and Betfair SP of 5.60 when losing last time, a race in which it raced prominently.

Timeform Comments

Red Glory (IRE)
Fairly useful 3-time hurdle winner upon joining present stable who again ran well when fourth in that sphere at Galway (17f) in August. Clearly not 100% when pulled up at Bellewstown 6 weeks ago but potentially very well treated back in this sphere.
Felicity Smoak (IRE)
Yet to win a race but back from an absence in good heart earlier this year, fourth on the Flat at Navan (13f) in June prior to finishing third over hurdles at Cork in July. Not in quite the same form at Wexford in August but no forlorn hope returned to this discipline after a break.
Glen Echo (IRE)
Improving 3-y-o who posted a good third at Cork in July and advanced his form with cheekpieces retained when finishing second at Roscommon (1½m, good to soft, 4/1) 38 days ago. Big player on that evidence on the back of a 1 lb rise.
Ms Messi (IRE)
Posted a good third on reappearance at Gowran (12.5f). Not in same form at Navan subsequently but does at least now find herself operating from last winning mark if bouncing back.
Max Meridius (IRE)
Lightly-raced maiden on Flat who opened his account over hurdles at Ballinrobe (17.4f) in July. Respectable efforts in that sphere last 2 starts and not one to dismiss out of hand from his reduced Flat mark given he's still unexposed at this trip.
Desert Friend (IRE)
Snapped a losing run at Dundalk in March and went in again at Sligo (1¾m, good to soft) in May. Exploits mixed subsequently, again well below best at Navan 6 weeks ago. Steps back down in trip now.
Sazerac Dance (IRE)
Kodi Bear filly who finished nearer last than first in a trio of 7f maidens on turf/all-weather this time last year. Takes a significant step up in trip on reappearance/handicap debut and the betting can prove best guide.
Wungudi (IRE)
Lightly-raced maiden who clearly isn't the easiest to train, off further 9 months (also tongue tied) when well held at Sligo in August. Can only be watched.
Queen Of Astolat (IRE)
Maiden handicapper, who has yet to fire for current connections but took a step back in the right direction when 4¼ lengths seventh of 14 at Clonmel last time. Needs to build on that returning to this much longer trip.
Quinchy Lady (IRE)
Little impact in 3 maidens and fared no better equipped with first-time cheekpieces when down the field on handicap debut at Down Royal (13f) 5 weeks ago. Visor now reached for.
Just Another Eagle (IRE)
Winless since 2024 and was struggling for form in handicaps earlier this season.
Premier Princess (IRE)
Looks limited, well beaten again on hurdles debut at Listowel on latest outing 18 days ago. Cheekpieces go back on returned to Flat.
Simpletwistoffaith (IRE)
Fair maiden hurdler at best but little recent form under either code for present stable.
Jazzy Rock (IRE)
Maiden on Flat/over hurdles who filled the frame in a trio of hurdle runs last autumn. Failed to improve switched to a handicap at Navan when last seen in November but no forlorn hope if ready to roll after 10 months off returned to this sphere.
Highlander Addict (IRE)
Seen to good effect when making all at Wexford on his fifth start in bumpers. Little show in trio of Flat maidens but should do better now tackling a staying handicap. RESERVE.
Peace Walk
Sold cheaply after losing his way for Charlie Johnston and rather discouraging he couldn't build on the promise displayed on second start for new yard when well held at Clonmel (17f) 3 weeks ago, beaten long way out. Marked drop in trip and new headgear needs to have positive effect. RESERVE.
Real Petite (GER)
Gained a first win over 1m at Gowran in June and not far off that level in defeat of late, posting a good fourth of 16 in handicap back over C&D 3 weeks ago. Not ruled out from career-low mark if getting a run. RESERVE.
