COLOSSAL IMPACT's debut effort is supported by a strong timefigure so he appeals as a solid candidate. Long Goodbye was beaten only by the promising Boycetown at Down Royal last Christmas and has a solid chance if returning to a similar level, while Josh's Jury may raise his game for his new yard.

Timeform Comments

Colossal Impact
11,000 half-brother to French 2¼m hurdle winner Mon Getaway. Backed at long odds and showed plenty when third of 9 in well-run Navan bumper in March. Sets the standard.
Josh's Jury (IRE)
Jukebox Jury gelding who showed a bit in a brace of bumpers for Steve Jones 10 months apart. Could raise his game for his new yard.
Long Goodbye (FR)
Ran to a similar level as on debut when beaten only by Boycetown (fourth in the Champion Bumper at Cheltenham) at Down Royal over Christmas. Below that level upped in trip at Cork 3 months later but solid chance if bouncing back.
Old Court (IRE)
Pulled up sole start in points but showed a bit more than on bumper debut when sixth of 12 at Downpatrick (2¼m, soft) 20 days ago.
River Cartwright (IRE)
Is bred more for stamina than speed and shaped accordingly when seventh of 8 in 2m bumper at Limerick (good) on debut in July.
Touch Of Life (FR)
€28,000 3-y-o, Galiway gelding. Dam maiden on Flat in France. Check the betting for clues.
Cloudy Rosie (IRE)
Placed in points and offered something to work on switched to bumpers when fourth of 17 in 2¼m event at Cork in early August. Tongue strap added and 2f shorter trip isn't sure to be in her favour.
Sea Swirl (IRE)
Sea Moon mare. Dam unraced out of fairly useful hurdler/fair chaser (stayed easy 3m) Supreme Arrow. Unplaced completed start in points, pulled up last time (May 2025). Wears hood for belated Rules debut.
