Timeform View

NIGHTFLYER has had the form of his Uttoxeter win boosted by the second scoring at Kelso on Sunday and is the percentage call, although strong support for Irish point recruit Port Glen One would put a slightly different slant on things.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Nightflyer traded at a high of 10.00 and Betfair SP of 7.34 when winning last time, a race in which it led.

Timeform Comments

Who's Glen (FR)
Useful handicapper on Flat for Andrew Balding. Not as good over hurdles but he did get off the mark in a 19.5f handicap at Bangor (good) last month. Below par in a big-field handicap at Worcester since, though.
Nightflyer (GER)
Fair bumper winner who has improved with each start over hurdles, making it third time lucky in a maiden at Uttoxeter (2½m, good) 23 days ago. Had a next-time-out winner behind in second on that occasion and looks sure to make a bold bid to defy a penalty.
Port Glen One (IRE)
Made a winning debut in the Irish pointing field in May and interesting hurdle debutant with the Twiston-Davies stable going well.
Downtown Nashville (IRE)
Made the frame on both completed starts in Irish points. Also placed in bumpers over the summer but he was a well-held fourth in a Fontwell maiden on his recent hurdle debut. Cheekpieces are quickly reached for on the back of that.
