MOTAWAARED hasn't done much wrong of late and perhaps this is the day he finally gets his head in front. Falcon Nine is another who has been knocking on the door in recent starts and is second choice under Jack Nicholls. Newmarket raider Ghost Story is next on the list.

Strong-travelling sort who gained a deserved first win of 2026 over C&D (good) in August. Creditable fourth of 9 in handicap at Redcar (1¼m, good to soft) on Saturday. Enters calculations.
Spanish Hustle
Ran best race this season when close second at Hamilton (13f, soft) last month but not in the same form back there 17 days ago. Others are more persuasive.
Royal Blaze
Doubled up over C&D in July. Given a bit of time since a lesser effort behind West Tyrone back here in August.
Ghost Story (IRE)
Yet to score this season but holding her form well, creditable fourth of 14 in handicap at Kempton (11f) 15 days ago, unable to sustain effort. One to consider.
Motawaared
Quirky maiden but has been firmly knocking on the door in recent weeks, pulling clear of the rest when second over 1m here (heavy) 9 days ago. Likely to be in the thick of things again.
Sweet Kiss
Completed a 1¼m handicap double last September. As good as ever when posting consecutive seconds at Redcar at the end of the summer. Better than latest remote fourth at Haydock might suggest as she was hampered. Yard going really well.
Idyllic
Good third of 12 over C&D (good) in August. Not seen to best effect when fourth of 9 at Redcar (1¼m, good) 29 days ago. Thereabouts.
Falcon Nine
Yet to add to his tally this year but has been knocking on the door, finishing runner-up at Haydock and Newcastle the last twice. Respected.
Vega Storm (IRE)
Has reached the frame 3 times in handicaps at up to 1m and the way he plugged on for fourth at Southwell last time suggests this slightly longer trip is worth a go.
Sophiesticate (IRE)
Gained a deserved fourth success at Musselburgh (13f) in July but has struggled since.
Tap Dancer
Sole success came in Bath novice (heavy) for Marcus Tregoning in autumn 2024. Hasn't threatened to capitalise on slipping mark since joining this yard, albeit latest 7f course fifth of 11 was respectable.
