ROXA LOVE had a bit up her sleeve when doubling her tally at Wolverhampton last month and with further progress on the cards now tackling a nursery, George Boughey's filly can complete the hat-trick. Things haven't gone to plan for Minzelle since getting off the mark, but she can get back on track on all-weather debut, with Needin' U and Paper View taken to fight out minor honours.

Timeform Comments

Lover Girl (IRE)
Started 2-2 at Wolverhampton/Salisbury in the spring and emerged with credit having raced up with a furious pace when third in a York listed event next start. Tailed off in Group 2/listed event the last twice (good to firm) and now has her sights lowered back from 8 weeks off.
Roxa Love
Showed the benefit of her first run when landing the odds in 5-runner maiden at Brighton (5.3f, good) in June and improved again 11 weeks later when defying a penalty in 7-runner novice at Wolverhampton (5f) last month. Open to further progress, she's got a big chance on nursery debut.
Dubai Charm (IRE)
Well beaten in the Albany before getting off the mark on nursery debut at Yarmouth (5f) in July. Largely in good form since, unlucky not to finish closer when fourth of 8 in nursery at same track (6f, good) 3 weeks ago (denied run final 100 yds). Makes all-weather debut.
Princesse D'orange
Made all in novice at Beverley on debut in April. Close third in National Stakes at Sandown the following month but found life too competitive at Royal Ascot/Glorious Goodwood since. Back on track switched to a nursery when fourth of 9 at Thirsk (5f) last month. Makes all-weather bow.
Minzelle (IRE)
Confirmed debut promise in 8-runner maiden at Catterick in June. Failed to meet expectations in listed race at Deauville next time and again ran below form after nearly 3 months off when tenth of 11 on nursery debut at Newmarket (5f) recently (well backed). Bounce back needed on all-weather bow.
Paper View (IRE)
On the up since a gelding operation, supplementing his Nottingham maiden victory on nursery bow at Ripon (6f) in July. Looked most unlucky not to add to his tally when third at Windsor (5f) in August but proved too free on softer ground than previously at Chester (5f) recently.
Needin' U
Proved a different proposition when justifying strong support on nursery debut at Musselburgh in August, pulling 2½ lengths clear of a next-time-out winner. Ran just respectably on the back of a 9 lb rise in the weights back there (5f) last month and now makes all-weather bow.
Casino Star (IRE)
Solid placed efforts behind a couple of useful sorts at Hamilton/Haydock earlier this summer. Didn't look altogether enthusiastic when asked for maximum effort in first-time cheekpieces at Newcastle in August and again looked awkward at Thirsk since. Hopes pinned on a tongue tie.
