ALBUS ANNE has fine a record at Bath and with conditions likely to suit, she can build on her promising effort at Salisbury. Top-weight Crimson Road is also high on the shortlist alongside recent Haydock winner Condotti.

Timeform Comments

Crimson Road (IRE)
Rattled up a quickfire hat-trick in July/August and looked as if still at the very top of his game when fourth of 14 in handicap at Nottingham (1¼m, good) 7 days ago, badly hampered after racing closer to the strong pace than ideal.
Oman (IRE)
Winner at Goodwood in June and having slipped to 2 lb below that winning mark, he doubled his tally for the year in a 10-runner handicap over this C&D (firm, 7/2) 9 days ago, getting first run on those that chased him home. Respected from an unchanged mark.
Prodigal Son
Won here in first-time blinkers in April and sprung a surprise after a spell in the doldrums when winning 14-runner handicap (22/1) at Newmarket (9f, good to firm) 19 days ago. That was a career best but he might need more again from 3 lb higher mark.
Amused (IRE)
Runner-up 3 times this season, most recently in August. Shaped better than distance beaten suggests when sixth of 8 in handicap at Epsom (8.5f, good) on his penultimate start but underperfomed at Windsor 3 weeks ago. Unproven over this longer trip.
King's Castle (IRE)
Dual winner last summer and has held his form in defeat this season, though it was a shade underwhelming he could only beat one home despite being last to come off the bridle when fourth of 5 in handicap at Ffos Las (1½m, good to soft, 6/1) 41 days ago.
Mathoura (IRE)
Made the frame on first 2 starts for Jessica Harrington in May. Possibly unsuited by conditions at Goodwood (heavy) on stable debut in August and took a step back in the right direction when third of 5 in novice over this C&D (good to firm, 11/1) 26 days ago. Improvement required on handicap debut.
Condotti (IRE)
Pulled clear with a next-time-out winner at Chester around 4 weeks ago and confirmed that promise when belatedly getting off the mark in 7-runner handicap at Haydock (1¼m, soft, 15/8) 13 days ago. Proved game there and can go well again after 2 lb rise.
She's Ideal (IRE)
Landed a double when making a winning start for current connections at Gowran (1m) in August but ran poorly on his last 2 outings for Adrian McGuinnes, so has something to prove after a stable switch.
Albus Anne
Completed a double in soft-ground handicaps here last autumn (including over C&D) and shaped as if on the way back from a reduced mark when third of 12 at Salisbury (1¼m, good to soft, 14/1) 7 days ago. Leading player with conditions to suit.
Daretobedifferent (IRE)
Showed a good attitude to get off the mark at Nottingham (1m) in May and ran to similar level when fifth of 8 in handicap at same course (1¼m, good to firm) 30 days ago. In trouble a long way out at Epsom 4 weeks ago, though.
Pangbourne
Showed promise on all-weather earlier this year and hasn't fared at all badly switched to turf subsequently, another good third at Sandown on her penultimate start. Saddle slipped early over C&D last week, so likely to be closer to form this time.
