Timeform View

SEVEN KITES made a pleasing start to his hurdling/Rules career when runner-up over C&D in March and is taken to go one better with improvement on the cards. Little Lady Rock raised her game on her first outing for her current yard when just failing under a penalty at Newton Abbot 3 weeks ago and is respected moving up in trip. Crossgales King folded as if amiss when last seen but is likely to pose a threat if back on song.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Seven Kites traded at a low of 1.12 and Betfair SP of 3.35 when losing last time, a race in which it raced prominently.

Timeform Comments

Crossgales King (IRE)
Gained a deserved breakthrough success in 9-runner handicap hurdle at Wincanton (3m) in March, always holding on. Possibly amiss when folding quite tamely at Newton Abbot the following month. Can bounce back.
Little Lady Rock (IRE)
Runner-up on all 3 outings in bumpers for Ryan Potter and left hurdling debut form behind when winning 2½m maiden at Market Rasen on second start for Shaun Lycett. Showed even better form in defeat setting out for this yard when just failing under a penalty at Newton Abbot 3 weeks ago. Up in trip.
Locker Boum (FR)
£100,000 buy after easily winning second of 2 outings in points but didn't see his race out for whatever reason when a well-held fourth in a Haydock bumper back in March. Upped markedly in trip for hurdling debut and should prove capable of better for in-form stable.
Simonsberg (IRE)
Tirwanako gelding. Dam unraced half-sister to fairly useful hurdler (stayed 2¾m) Sunshine Corner out of fair hurdler/fairly useful chaser (winner up to 2¼m) Coolgreaney. Placed twice from 3 starts in Irish points, runner-up latest (Feb 2026).
Seven Kites (IRE)
Successful on sole outing in points and made an encouraging hurdling debut when second over C&D in early-April. Open to improvement.
Zerouali
Well beaten on sole outing in bumpers and it has been very much the same story on both starts over hurdles.
Sorgean (FR)
Runner-up on second of 2 starts in Irish points and had a bit up her sleeve when winning a 5-runner bumper at Wincanton on Rules debut (15.2f) in April. Underwhelming sent hurdling at Fontwell a month later but has had a breathing operation since and surely capable of better now upped in trip.
