Lots with chances but GUNFIGHTER looks the way to go given he did well to get up over C&D last time and now has the services of Billy Loughnane for the first time. It'sneverjustone is next on the list after taking a step back in the right direction with his recent Ayr fifth, while Asteverdi and The Hare Rail also need factoring into this open-looking handicap.

Dual 7f/1m winner for Denis Quinn last August. Made a positive start for current yard but below form of late, sixth of 12 at Newmarket (1m, good to firm) 15 days ago. Bounce back is needed.
It'sneverjustone
Completed 7f handicap double at the Galway Festival last summer. Yet to add to that in 2026 but hinted at a revival with fifth of 12 in handicap at Ayr (1m, soft) 22 days ago. One to consider with blinkers added for the first time.
Berry Clever
Doubled his tally for the season in 12-runner handicap at Newmarket (1m, good to firm) 15 days ago. Up 3 lb but this C&D scorer needs considering.
Gunfighter (IRE)
All 4 wins on all-weather, and he resumed winning ways in 13-runner handicap over C&D 30 days ago, doing well given he conceded first run. Up 3 lb but merits serious consideration with Billy Loughnane up.
Longlai (FR)
C&D winner but on a losing run and he came in well held over C&D last time. Cheekpieces go on for the first time now.
The Hare Rail (IRE)
Finally got off the mark in 10-runner handicap at Wolverhampton (8.5f) 18 days ago, just holding on. Can go well again despite a 4 lb weight rise.
Freda (IRE)
Opened her account in novice over C&D in April but has failed to kick on sent handicapping, just a respectable fifth of 10 over C&D 16 days ago. Bit more is needed if she's to double her tally.
Port Erin (IRE)
A 3-time winner (including over C&D) in 2025. Yet to hit top form this season despite a slipping mark, posting a respectable fourth of 10 in handicap at Bath (1m, good to soft) last time. Needs to step forward.
King Of Charm
Ended a losing sequence at Newmarket (1m) in June. Well below par both runs since though, too free when eighth of 12 there (1m) 15 days ago.
