Timeform View

SILVER LAKE notched a handicap 4-timer in taking fashion at Doncaster and can continue her rise through the ranks by gaining a first pattern-race success. Touleen has yet to get her head in front this season but should be playing a big part here on her form, as should Oaks runner-up Legacy Link if back on her A-game. Noche Clasica appeals as the pick of the older runners.

Timeform Comments

Francophone
Won a 1m listed race here last autumn. Largely in good form this season without adding to it, runner-up in listed race on July Course here (1½m, good to firm) in August. Much respected after a break.
Miss Wong
Won back-to-back handicaps last summer but has struggled since stepping up in class, albeit not discredited when sixth of 11 to Naga in listed race at Yarmouth (1¼m, good) 23 days ago. This is another tough ask.
Naga (FR)
Continues on the up and she doubled her tally for 2026 when making all in 11-runner listed race at Yarmouth (1¼m, good) 23 days ago. Runner-up has gone in since and she's not dismissed.
Noche Clasica (IRE)
Useful filly. Resumed with 9f handicap win at Musselburgh in April. Advanced her form when second in Group 3 at Sandown (1m) in August and not disgraced when fifth in Group 3 at Chantilly (9f, good to firm) 20 days ago. Merits consideration.
Patagonia Girl
Fairly useful filly. Resumed winning ways in seller at Chester (1¼m, heavy) 20 days ago. This is a very difficult ask, however.
Snellen (IRE)
Useful and likeable Irish mare. Posted a good fifth in Duke of Cambridge Stakes at Royal Ascot (1m) in June. Rare poor run when last of 6 in Meld Stakes at Leopardstown (9f, good) following month. Freshened up since, and no surprise to see her bounce back.
Legacy Link
Won Musidora at York on reappearance before an excellent second in Oaks at Epsom (1½m, good to soft) in June. Well below her best in Ribblesdale at Royal Ascot and Yorkshire Oaks at York (1½m, soft) since. Holds leading form claims if back on her A-game in these much calmer waters.
Della Pace
Useful filly. Mainly in good form this season and set lots to do when tenth of 14 in Group 3 at the Curragh (9f, good to soft) last time. Faces a stiff task here, though.
Felicitas
Useful filly. Landed novices on her first 2 starts and improved again when runner-up to Legacy Link in Musidora at York in May. Only twice raced since and not disgraced when third to On Message in listed race at Salisbury (1¼m, good) last time. This demands a clear personal best, however.
Lizzana (IRE)
Resumed with 8.5f novice success at Wolverhampton in March, Has continued on the up in better company, third of 15 in Italian Oaks at Milan (for Stefano Botti) before an excellent runner-up in listed race here (1m, good to firm) 2 weeks ago. No forlorn hope.
On Message
Got back on the up when doubling her tally for the season in listed race at Salisbury (1¼m) in August. Not discredited with fourth of 7 in Winter Hill Stakes at Windsor (1¼m, good to firm) last time. Possibilities.
Pacific Mission
Useful 7f winner at 2 yrs. Back to form when second in listed race at Haydock (1m) in August and not disgraced when sixth of 10 in similar company at Sandown (1m, good to soft) 23 days ago. Lots more is needed on her first go at this trip.
Previous
Lightly-raced sort who landed 1m Southwell nursery before signing off for 2025 with an excellent third in listed race here (1m, good) in November. This is a very tough return after 11 months off the track.
Rose Ghaiyyath (IRE)
Useful filly. Highly tried for much of this season but got back on track with her sights lowered when third of 10 in conditions event at Deauville (1¼m, good to soft) in August. This is another tough ask, though.
Silver Lake
Upwardly-mobile filly who defied a career-high handicap mark in good style when completing a 4-timer at Doncaster (1½m, good to firm) 4 weeks ago. Not stopped improving yet and can take this step up in class in her stride.
Song Of The Clouds (IRE)
Improving Night of Thunder filly who went 2-3 after a 4-month absence in 5-runner novice at Windsor (1m, good) 25 days ago. This demands considerably more but she's open to further progress.
Touleen
Very useful filly. Excellent second in Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot in June. Not disgraced in first-time cheekpieces when second of 19 in Sceptre Stakes at Doncaster (7f, good to firm) last time. Has her first go at this trip now and not taken lightly.
