Timeform View

MINI GETAWAY gained a deserved first success at Sligo last week and from her very low base, she may well follow up. King Gris looks an interesting contender up in trip for handicap debut over fences, with Three By Two another to consider on reappearance.

Timeform Comments

Custers Mistake (IRE)
Doubled his tally with an easy victory in 2½m handicap hurdle at Wexford in August last year. Friendless in the betting back over fences for new yard at Ballinrobe and ran no sort of race.
Lecale's Diamond (IRE)
Off the mark in handicap hurdle at Wexford (3m) in May. Disappointing in 2 starts over fences since, in blinkers when well held at Kilbeggan (3¼m) 7 weeks ago, so bounce back called for.
Three By Two (IRE)
Fairly useful chaser at best but saw her form tail off over the course of last season. Off 8 months but has gone well fresh in the past so market may well be revealing from this handy mark.
Shantou Show (IRE)
Won first 2 starts under Rules, including over C&D but that was back in 2023. Creditable fifth of 15 in handicap chase at this course (23f, soft) 21 days ago, left poorly placed how the race unfolded.
Bayonetta (IRE)
Long-standing maiden who hit the frame on 8 occasions in a row over both sets of obstacles. Didn't seem to see out 3m when snapping that sequence in August and now reverts to chasing with cheekpieces back on.
King Gris (FR)
Managed to win a couple of handicap hurdles around 2½m at Ayr and Hexham last season and very much looks to be being brought along with similar intentions over fences based on his 2 previous efforts in this sphere. Looks of serious interest trying 3m for the first time.
Fr Gilligansvoyge
Veteran who has enjoyed an excellent summer, winning 3 times and placed on 4 other occasions, but a busy spell has seemed to catch up with him the last twice.
Schiehallion (IRE)
Maiden hurdler who didn't show much first 2 starts over fences having switched to the larger obstacles late in his career but in a change of headgear, he did offer a bit more when fourth over 23f here 3 weeks ago.
Mobile Mamma (IRE)
Second to subsequent winner Ladies Well on return reads positively in the context of this race. Not as good back hurdling since though and also put in a moody display back chasing at Sligo last week. Visor replaces blinkers and dangerous if she's on a going day.
Mini Getaway (IRE)
Progressive form from her low base over fences, shedding her maiden status at Sligo last week, showing a good attitude in the process. Fourth-place finisher in that race has won since so holds very sound follow-up claims.
Technology (IRE)
Long-standing maiden who ran well when second in a 15-runner handicap at Down Royal in August, with the form boosted by the third winning since. However, he underlined his inconsistency since and this a belated second try over fences.
Malton Groove (IRE)
Long-standing maiden who was keeping on in fourth (albeit unlikely to trouble the first 2) when falling at Kilbeggan in August. Jumping fell to pieces at Sligo last week, though. New headgear tried.
Mastermind (IRE)
Snapped a losing run of over 8 years when landing a 15-runner handicap at Down Royal in April. That race panned out well for him, though, and he wasn't in the same form at Downpatrick soon after.
Subset (IRE)
Fair cross-country chaser who looked very rusty on return in a handicap chase at Ballinrobe and was never a factor over hurdles 3 weeks ago (19f). Back up in trip.
