Timeform View

Those with experience set no more than a fair standard so this could be prime for a newcomer. TAJAC makes appeal on paper starting out for a very shrewd stable and could be the way to go before market clues. Final Ascent is another appealing newcomer who cost plenty and is worthy of note. Thumama Glory, Tio Joao and The Pipeman are a trio of others to consider.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Tio Joao traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP twice on 3 of its last 4 starts.

Timeform Comments

The Pipeman (IRE)
Son of Cotai Glory who has yet to progress from his Navan debut second in 2 subsequent maiden runs, fading out of things when fifth of 12 in a 6f maiden here 3 weeks ago. Has been gelded ahead of this, though and pick of form entitles him to respect.
Thumama Glory (IRE)
Cotai Glory gelding who was again at long odds but showed benefit of initial experience when second of 12 in a 6f maiden here 3 weeks ago. Noted keeping on then so return to 7f looks a good move from a handy draw.
American Cowboy (USA)
Foaled February 21. $50,000 yearling, €48,000 2-y-o, Volatile colt. Half-brother to winner in US Dispersion. Dam winner up to 1m (including in US, 2-y-o 7.4f winner).
Cat Blade
Caturra gelding who showed more than first time up when eighth of 12 in a 6f maiden here 21 days ago. However, looks the type to do better in nurseries on the back of this.
Chicago Caray
Foaled February 16. 20,000 gns foal, €50,000 yearling, Harry Angel gelding. Half-brother to 1¼m winner Geliceaux. Dam sprint maiden half-sister to smart 9f-1½m winner Delius.
Farmerspolish (IRE)
Foaled April 4. Lucky Vega colt. Half-brother to French 1m winner Bits of Love and useful 2-y-o 6f winner Art Lover. Finished third of 10 in barrier trial at Leopardstown in August and interesting what the betting makes of him now. Wears tongue strap.
Mirren
Has run to a fair level all 3 starts to date, sent off favourite but not threatening when seventh of 15 in maiden at Cork (1m) 6 weeks ago. It may well be significant that stable jockey Luke McAteer is aboard stable's newcomer Jacob's Journey, however.
Pauseathought
Foaled April 8. 4,500 gns foal, Kameko colt. Half-brother to 5f winner Ghostman and winner up to 1¼m Emma's Letter. Dam, 2-y-o 7f winner, half-sister to useful 1¼m-1¾m winner London Bridge.
Sharf Ardad (IRE)
Foaled February 18. Ardad gelding. Dam unraced out of smart 1m-12.4f winner Star Lahib.
Tajac (IRE)
Foaled April 27. €26,000 yearling, Ten Sovereigns colt. Dam unraced half-sister to smart winner up to 8.3f Eternally. Excellent stable 3-16 with 2-y-o newcomers at the time of writing and he's another well worthy of note on debut.
Tio Joao (IRE)
Run to just a modest level on each of his first 3 starts but marked step forward switched to a nursery back on all-weather when second over C&D 7 days ago. Trip appeared to stretch him then but possibilities nevertheless with plenty of experience to call upon.
Con Artist (IRE)
Foaled March 4. Space Traveller colt. Half-brother to winner up to 7.4f King of The Lions. Dam, 2-y-o 7f winner, half-sister to useful 6f-7f winner Another Romance. Yard's newcomers usually better for a run.
Jacob's Journey (IRE)
Foaled February 16. 22,000 gns yearling, Phoenix of Spain gelding. Half-brother to winner up to 7f Pembrokeshire. Dam 8.5f winner.
Final Ascent (USA)
Foaled May 1. $190,000 2-y-o, Galilean colt. Dam lightly raced. Clearly made plenty of appeal in the sales ring so interesting if market vibes prove positive ahead of debut.
Courtier (IRE)
Inn Of Court colt who offered little when last of 12 on debut at Gowran (1m, soft) 3 weeks ago. RESERVE.
Alfredo Delgado (IRE)
Inns of Court gelding. Half-brother to several winners, including useful winner up to 7f Dig Two (2-y-o 5f/6f winner). Merely hinted at ability when eighth of 11 in a Listowel maiden (1m) 18 days ago. Likely to be brought along with handicaps in mind. RESERVE.
