Timeform View

STAR GLORY proved her Galway running all wrong back on a more conventional course and looked a shade unlucky not to force a photo when going down narrowly at Naas 7 weeks ago. She sets a good standard here and shades preference over Joseph O'Brien's appealing newcomer Ladies Gossip. Listowel eye-catcher Sonic Sabiha is another warranting a close look with further progress anticipated.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Star Glory traded at a low of 11.00 and Betfair SP of 20.00 when losing last time, a race in which it raced prominently and travelled strongly early on.

Timeform Comments

Ippy (IRE)
Showed something like debut form in a refitted hood when third of 14 in maiden at Down Royal (7f, good) 35 days ago. That was a fair effort and she's an each-way player for all a switch to nurseries will likely suit her better.
Little Scotch (IRE)
Foaled April 6. €36,000 yearling, Kodi Bear filly. 18/1 showed a bit when keeping on for fifth in 8-runner Down Royal (7f) 11 days ago. Can build on that but possible she'll be brought along with handicaps in mind.
Madam Sweetie Pie (USA)
Foaled April 8. Frosted filly. Dam US winner up to 6f (2-y-o 5f winner). Yard has yet to strike with a 2-y-o debutant this season but betting can guide with stable also responsible for Sake Nights.
Sake Nights
Foaled February 19. 24,000 gns foal, €45,000 yearling, 140,000 gns 2-y-o, Ulysses filly. Dam, winner up to 6f (2-y-o 5f winner), sister to smart 6f winner (including Ayr Gold Cup) Don't Touch. Betting can unearth clues ahead of racecourse bow.
Star Glory (IRE)
Proved her Galway running all wrong back on a more conventional course when second of 16 in 7f Naas maiden last time, playing her hand after the winner and third had engaged each other for around 1f. Sets a good standard and expected to play a lead role despite wide draw.
Ladies Gossip (IRE)
Foaled April 18. 55,000 gns yearling, €170,000 2-y-o, Calyx filly. Half-sister to winner up to 7f Mission Command and useful 2-y-o 7f/1m winner Capall Rasa. Yard's record this season with 2-y-o debutants stands at 9-60 at the time of writing and she's well worthy of note.
Lady Quigley (IRE)
Unfortunately filly. Dam 5f winner. Showed little both starts to date.
Secret Vega (IRE)
Foaled April 4. Lucky Vega filly. Sister to 1m winner Rapide Vega, and half-sister to 8.6f winner Pyrrhic Dancer and 2-y-o 7f winner Blackpink.
Alpha Betty (IRE)
Nando Parrado filly who was sent off at long odds on debut but showed some ability when fourth of 8 in a Down Royal maiden (7f) on debut 11 days ago, keeping on close home. Appeals as the type to build on that.
Aquired Taste (IRE)
Foaled May 5. €1,000 yearling, Soldier's Call filly. Half-sister to 11f winner Apache Canyon. Dam, third at 6f, half-sister to smart winner up to 1m Jairzihno. Likely outsider on racecourse debut for all stable landed this contest 12 months ago.
Donner Dancer (IRE)
Foaled March 1. In Swoop filly. Half-sister to winner abroad up to 11f Zorianna. Dam, 1m winner who stayed 1¼m, half-sister to 2-y-o 6f winner (stayed 1m) Les Bleus. Stable 3-32 with their 2-y-o debutants at the time of writing and betting can guide as to expectations.
Esprit De Loi (IRE)
Foaled April 14. €5,000 yearling, Inns of Court filly. Closely related to 2-y-o 5f-6f winner Hedge Fund, and half-sister to 5.5f-11.4f winner in Italy My Captain and 1m winner Rosemary's Rose.
Lady's Court (IRE)
Inns of Court filly. Showed a bit when fifth of 14 in a 6f maiden here on debut in August and showed good speed when finishing fourth in a Navan maiden (6f) 5 weeks ago. Hood goes on first time but step up to 7f doesn't look an obvious move.
Sonic Sabiha (IRE)
Phoenix Of Spain filly who has stepped forward with each start to date, not seen to best effect and catching the eye of the stewards when fifth of 11 in a Listowel maiden (1m) 18 days ago. Very much the type to go on improving and no surprise to see her make more of an impact.
Dragon Scales (IRE)
Footstepsinthesand filly who was unfancied in the betting but hinted at ability when sixth of 16 in maiden at Gowran (7f) in August. This promises to reveal more. RESERVE.
Moyanna Castle (IRE)
Magna Grecia filly. Very green and never involved when 7¼ lengths ninth of 14 in a 6f maiden here on debut in August. RESERVE.
Catch The Boss (IRE)
Calyx filly. Half-sister to 6f winner Universal Girl and 7.7f winner Future Promise. 7/1, ran as if in need of run for fitness and experience when 8 lengths eighth of 15 in a Naas maiden (6f) 7 weeks ago. RESERVE.
