Timeform View

AITEALL is less exposed than most of these and Joseph O'Brien's 3-y-o can go one better than he did at Down Royal 11 days ago. The consistent Storm Eric and recent C&D runner-up Jazz Forever are also shortlisted.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Timeform Comments

Timandi (IRE)
Bounced back to best when winning 1½m claimer at Tramore in July and good second in a similar race at Killarney (1m, good) next time. Quickly back to form when third of 18 in handicap at the Curragh (1¼m, heavy, 12/1) 12 days ago. A repeat of that should see her competitive.
Star Mind
Dual winner on all-weather in the UK. Hasn't kicked on from her win at Leopardstown in April, though shaped as back in form after a very slow break when fifth of 14 in handicap (50/1) at this C&D 21 days ago. Issues at the stalls have to be a concern again.
Thompson Gunner (IRE)
Below his best since winning a 0-60 at C&D in January (still sole success) and was only seventh of 10 in claimer (16/1) at Laytown (6f) 29 days ago. Significantly back up in trip. First run for yard after leaving Cian Hughes.
Storm Eric (IRE)
Course winner who had been running consistently here this season, outside the frame only once from 9 Flat outings. Likely to go well again.
Doctor Grace (IRE)
Latest win at Roscommon in May. Lower in the weights on all-weather and ran well after some low-key turf efforts when third of 14 in handicap at this C&D (13/2) 21 days ago. Enters calculations.
Captain Hanley (IRE)
Maiden in both codes who was a creditable fourth at Tramore on last Flat start but soundly beaten in maiden hurdles both starts since. Others preferred with cheekpieces reapplied.
Aiteall (IRE)
Improved in first-time cheekpieces when second of 14 in handicap at Down Royal (11f, good to soft, 18/1) 11 days ago. Bumped into a progressive rival there and he can go well again after 2 lb rise.
Colugo (IRE)
Maiden who was holding form well on all-weather prior to Christmas but seems to completely lost her way in 2026.
Ebony Reign (IRE)
Offered little in 3 maidens at 7f/1m and now switches to handicap company over longer trip. Tongue strap goes on for first time.
Jazz Forever (IRE)
Sole success came over C&D in April 2024. Close third in this grade at Navan in June and returned to form after several lesser efforts when second of 14 in handicap (16/1) at this C&D 21 days ago.
Ventriloquist (IRE)
Sent off at long odds and well beaten in 3 maidens. More will be required on handicap debut.
Kingcharles (FR)
Shaped quite well when eighth of 12 in handicap at Navan (1m) but failed to build on that promise when mid-field over 1¼m there last month. Makes polytrack debut.
Zitkala Sa (IRE)
Made the frame for just the second time when fourth of 14 in handicap at this course (1½m, 100/1) 14 days ago but will probably need more again if she's to go closer here.
Onyeisi
Consistent performer on the all-weather for Charlie Johnston last winter. Largely struggled on turf for current connections and fared no better returned all-weather at C&D 3 weeks ago.
Banshof (IRE)
Remains with one standout effort when eighth of 20 in a 6f Curragh maiden and was down the field in a 1m Bellewstown handicap last week. Engaged 2.26 Thurles Thursday. RESERVE.
Barretstown (IRE)
Three-time C&D winner but nothing to shout about of late. RESERVE.
Master Garvey (IRE)
Infrequent winner who has been operating below his best on all-weather/turf in recent starts. Others more persuasive. Engaged 3.01 Thurles Thursday. RESERVE.
