Timeform View

IVEAGH HOUSE just about sets the standard having finished fourth in a maiden that has worked out well and he can confirm form over Selosse, who shaped well in the same race. Several newcomers could be flies in the ointment, though, including Knight's Honour and True Sovereign from the same stable as the selection so the market needs a look.

Timeform Comments

Adversity
Not without hope on pedigree but was only tenth of 13 in a maiden at Curragh 42 days ago and will likely need more time.
All Talk (IRE)
Did plenty on the front end when fourth of 6 on debut at Listowel 18 days ago, taking a strong hold before weakening. Open to improvement and this step up to 1m should suit on breeding.
Astroway (FR)
Foaled April 14. €28,000 foal, 33,000 gns yearling. Sealiway gelding. Second foal whose dam won at 1¼m in France and is a sister to French winner up to 1½m Patzefredo. Market will guide.
Don't Go Mad (IRE)
Showed only greenness when down field in maidens both starts to date.
Island Bloom (IRE)
Made a promising start when third of 15 in a maiden over 7f here 23 days ago, staying on. Step up to 1m should suit and he's entitled to progress so could trouble the placings again.
Iveagh House (IRE)
Showed plenty when fourth of 16 in maiden over 7f at the Curragh in August on debut and the second and third have already won since. Step up in trip should suit and he's one to take very seriously for top connections.
Knight's Honour (IRE)
Foaled March 19. 80,000 gns foal, 475,000 gns yearling. Camelot colt. Half-brother to useful 2-y-o winner Caburn (5f/6f) and 1m winner Pivotal Revive out of a 2-y-o 6f/7f winner. Family suggests 1m within range for outstanding yard and market will guide as to expectations with stablemates.
Naval Gazer (IRE)
Foaled February 21. €30,000 foal. Naval Crown colt. Half-brother to winners from 7f to 9.5f. Market likely to provide best guide for in-form yard.
Raygani (IRE)
Tenth of 11 on debut over 7f at this course 23 days ago, looking badly in need of the experience. Steps up to 1m which should suit but likely more time needed.
Selosse (IRE)
Encouraging start when fifth of 16 at Curragh over 7f in a maiden in August when just behind Iveagh House. Extra distance should suit and natural progression should see him go close.
Sevengrandchildren (IRE)
Foaled April 21. €3,000 foal, €5,000 yearling. Magna Grecia colt. Newcomer who looks up against it starting in this company.
Ted's Turn (IRE)
Proving consistent rather than progressive at this stage and set for a minor role once more.
True Sovereign (USA)
Foaled March 26. Gun Runner colt starting out for top connections and is one to note in the betting.
Admired Beauty (IRE)
Second of 9 on debut at the Curragh but has disappointed since, including when tenth of 17 in a maiden at Cork in September. Steps up to 1m here and needs to get back on track.
Angel Invincible (IRE)
Foaled March 2. Invincible Army filly. Third foal of an unraced dam, so credentials are difficult to assess.
Duquesne Bay (IRE)
Foaled April 23. 32,000 gns yearling. New Bay filly. First foal of unraced dam, half-sister to useful 1m winner Variyann and out of 9f/1¼m winner Vazira. May need more time.
Grecian Pearl (IRE)
Foaled January 30. Magna Grecia filly half-sister to 3 winners, including a useful performer at 1m, out of a dam who won over 5f at 2. Not without hope on pedigree but is a rare 2-y-o runner for stable.
Lady Lucille (IRE)
Foaled January 24. Supremacy filly. Second foal whose dam won at 1½m and over hurdles. Bred for stamina and will likely need more time.
