ATHAIR MOR did well over fences last season and can make a winning start for an in-form yard. Prospect House is an obvious threat under a penalty after his stylish win at Uttoxeter last week, while Langton Wold looks interesting back over fences.

Timeform Comments

Achille Des Rocs (FR)
Dual winner over hurdles in 2024. Pulled up on first 3 starts this year but bounced back with a bang when off the mark over fences at Cartmel in late-August, justifying support. Soon done with at Sedgefield since but that form is working out.
Jet Renegade (IRE)
Has shown ability in bumpers/hurdles/Flat maidens in Ireland but ran badly on yard/handicap debut at Perth last month. Plenty to prove now chasing (in frame once from 3 starts in points).
Prospect House (IRE)
Ended last season with 2m success at Catterick in December. Better than ever this time around, resuming winning ways at Uttoxeter last week, a bare 2m ideal. Must be respected under a penalty.
Langton Wold (IRE)
Flat winner who has yet to score over jumps, though he has had only 2 starts over fences, a good second at Catterick on the last of them in December 2024. Back to form over hurdles recently and yard recently ended 7-month drought with its jumpers.
Mr Lincoln
Still retains plenty of ability on the Flat. However, he finds wins hard to come by, including over hurdles. Headgear applied for chase debut.
Athair Mor (IRE)
Took well to fences last season, finishing runner-up around 2½m on his last 4 starts. Has had another breathing operation since leaving Paul Robson and it is interesting that his new yard drops him back in trip.
Treaty Boy (IRE)
Twice a winner at Catterick. Last season was a washout but at least starts the new campaign off a career-low mark.
