Timeform View

Plenty to consider but PRINCE RASAM's all-weather record is a pretty good one and the strong feeling is that he can win a race from his current mark. With stall 2 another plus he gets the vote in favour of Izzari and R P McMurphy, who finished 1-2 over C&D recently. Irish raider Calm The Jets needs a check in the market.

Timeform Comments

Chilly Breeze
Right back to his very best when landing 12-runner handicap at Bath (1m) 11 days ago. 4 lb rise won't prevent a bold follow-up bid.
Bowood
Free-going sort who completed a double over 1m at Newcastle last autumn. Posted some respectable efforts on all-weather/turf this year but habitual slow start means he's a hostage to fortune.
Narmar (IRE)
In good form back on turf last summer, gaining a first success for current yard at Ffos Las in June 2025. However, he's gone the wrong way in 4 starts this season.
City Of God (IRE)
Twice a winner on all-weather for Karl Burke but yet to fire in 5 starts for current yard. Handicapper continues to relent but hard to warm to.
I Am Me (IRE)
Capitalised on the drop in grade when scoring at Kempton in February but lightly raced and nowhere near that form since. NON RUNNER.
Calm The Jets
Debut winner on all-weather at the beginning of 2025 but has failed to make a significant impact in turf handicaps since returning from an absence. Irish raider needs a check in the market returned to this surface.
No Knee Never (IRE)
Down in the weights and enhanced his all-weather record in 9.5f handicap at Wolverhampton 12 days ago. Back up 4 lb but he can remain competitive.
Rusheen Boy
Doubled his tally for the season in a match at Yarmouth in June and, after a couple of lesser efforts, got back on the up when also landing 14-runner C&D handicap in August. Looked anchored by 4 lb higher mark latest, for all it wasn't a bad effort and draw could have been kinder.
Prince Rasam
Lightly raced and ran one of his better races when second of 14 at Kempton in May after 7 months off. Failed to meet expectations at Salisbury a month ago but profile on the all-weather does look a more compelling one, so he's worth another chance.
Oro Palacio (FR)
Most promising effort in his 3 qualifying runs when fifth at Kempton last month. Opening marks asks for more but he is a potential improver for his in-form yard.
Auburn Avenue (IRE)
Belatedly off the mark over 7f at Chepstow in July but back into her shell since over 1m. Tongue tie back on.
Sandy Craic (IRE)
Showed a willing attitude when landing 10-runner handicap at Carlisle (7f) in June. Solid efforts on the whole since, sticking to her task when third over C&D 3 weeks ago.
Izzari (GER)
From his falling mark, he shaped encouragingly both starts in August before getting back to winning ways in 14-runner apprentice event over C&D, travelling easily into contention. Escaped a penalty for that but not in the same form at Newcastle, the steady gallop against him. Remains of interest.
R P Mcmurphy
At the top of his game at present, gaining third all-weather win last month and more than matching that from 5 lb higher when ¾-length second of 14 to Izzari in handicap here 2 weeks ago. Likely to give it another good go.
