MARRWAA is bred to be useful and while her successful stable has had just the one winning 2-y-o newcomer this season, she is selected to double that tally in the hope the market vibes are positive. Diamondsforyou, Ruby Sands and Lizzie Bennet have all displayed ability and can make their presence felt.

Timeform Comments

Cranberry Breeze (IRE)
Foaled March 25. €32,000 2-y-o, Bayside Boy filly. Half-sister to several winners, including winner up to 7f Jabaara and 9.4f-1¾m winner Tajanis, both useful. Dam 7f winner. Low-key debut at Windsor a month ago (6f).
Diamondsforyou (IRE)
Offered something to work on behind an above-average rival when 3¼ lengths second of 5 to Varzi in novice at Pontefract on debut in August. That race worked out quite well but he merely matched that form when third upped to 7f at Thirsk 4 weeks ago. Still looks to be learning and now on all-weather.
Hotterthanjuly (IRE)
Foaled February 23. €55,000 foal, 145,000 gns yearling, Palace Pier filly. Half-sister to 3 winners, including useful 2-y-o 5f winner Magical Journey and useful 7f-9.5f winner Sceptic. Showed up for a portion of her debut at Haydock 2 weeks ago (1m). Should last longer this time.
Lets Give It A Go
First foal, dam 2-y-o 5f winner. Stable not known for 2-y-o winners.
Lizzie Bennet
Dark Angel filly. Half-sister to smart 7f winner Poet Master (won on debut). Dam 2-y-o 6f winner. Showed plenty to work on when runner-up at Carlisle in August, splitting a pair of next-time-out winners. Recoiled from that effort upped to 7f at Leicester a month later.
Marrwaa
Foaled February 10. Baaeed filly. Dam, 1m winner who stayed 1¼m, half-sister to smart winner up to 7f Boosala. Newcomers from yard often fancied so one to monitor closely in the market for powerful connections.
Ruby Sands
Well-related Sands of Mali filly who made a promising start with third of 7 in novice at Newbury (6.5f, good to firm) in July. Failed to meet market expectations when occupying same spot at Newmarket but should be bang there in a novice such as this switched to all-weather.
Runic (IRE)
Foaled March 29. €130,000 yearling, Showcasing filly. Half-sister to 2-y-o 7f winner Zous And Me. Dam, winner up to 1¼m (2-y-o 7.4f winner), half-sister to smart 2-y-o 7f winner Sent From Heaven. Bred to be a bit sharper than many for her excellent yard.
Wise Times
Foaled March 19. Zarak filly. Half-sister to 12.4f winner Northern Ruler. Yard more than capable of readying a newcomer.
