Timeform View

WILLOLARUPI is a C&D winner from not many attempts on all-weather and also ran well when second here recently so he could have more to offer on this surface and is preferred over the well-treated Jesse Luc, who needs luck given his style, while Eightthreeone holds strong claims having escaped a penalty for recent success, too.

Timeform Comments

Willolarupi (IRE)
Good effort when second of 13 over C&D 23 days ago and he's only lightly raced on all-weather despite appearing well suited to it so he looks sure to go well from a mark 1 lb below his last winning one.
Riley Rocks
Won over C&D in March but not in same form since. Didn't get a clear run at Windsor last time but now returns to all-weather and drops into 0-65 company for the first time so he's worth a look.
Eightthreeone
Won at Yarmouth in an apprentice handicap 5 days ago with first-time cheekpieces and drop in grade helping him double his tally. Returns to this C&D where he has won before and escapes a penalty for recent success so looks sure to go well.
Toptime
Boasts a good course record and comes here 2 lb higher than when winning narrowly over 5f here last week. Now returns to 6f so may just prove vulnerable late on in follow-up attempt.
Jesse Luc
Three-time winner over C&D who looked back in form when third of 13 here 23 days ago, bouncing back from a falling mark. First-time visor replaces cheekpieces and he can go well if getting the breaks (usually starts slowly).
Cool Doc Boy (IRE)
Second on debut at Kempton last November but regressive since, including over C&D on first outing since leaving Jamie Osborne last time.
Top Lad
Has achieved little recently, including when third of 6 in a thin race over 5f at Catterick when last seen in August. Now back up to 6f but tough to fancy.
Hares Bredth
More miss than hit this year, recently running well when third of 8 at Carlisle in August but following that with 2 lesser efforts. Hard to be confident about on all-weather debut.
Coast
On lengthy losing run and largely poor efforts all year, regardless of surface.
