HALIMEDE proved a different proposition when easily winning her first 2 starts in handicaps and, having not been seen to best effect in her hat-trick bid, she is well worth another chance. Cosmo Brown shaped promisingly when making the frame at Bath recently and is feared most, ahead of L'Eagle Aid.

Dual 1½m winner at Wolverhampton in late-2025 and started this season with a pair of good runner-up efforts on turf, including over this trip at Carlisle in June. Excuses next time and clipped heels when unseating early when last seen. Could still have more to offer as a stayer.
Dust Cover
All 3 wins on all-weather, including twice over 11f at this course. Has shaped as if back in form at Kempton on his last 2 starts, unsuited by a steady pace when fifth of 12 over 1½m on latest outing. Could be in the mix back up in trip.
L'eagle Aid (IRE)
Without a win so far this year but arrives in good heart, running creditably back on all-weather when third of 11 at Newcastle (12.5f) 9 days ago. Remains 5 lb below his last winning mark, so he merits consideration now switched to a visor.
Halimede (IRE)
Much improved upped to 1½m for handicap debut when winning readily at Catterick in August and followed up at Lingfield 4 days later. Failed to land the odds when second of 3 at Thirsk last time, though would have benefited from setting a stronger gallop. Remains capable of better up in trip.
Knightsail (IRE)
Promise on second of 2 starts last year but hasn't progressed in 3 starts this season, upped to this trip when seventh of 10 in handicap at Yarmouth 23 days ago. Others more persuasive as he makes all-weather debut.
Roker Roar (IRE)
Still looking for a breakthrough success but has been holding his form well in handicaps, making the frame here (1½m) for the second start in a row when fourth of 8 on latest outing. Has shaped as if this longer distance could suit.
Neswick
Promise on first 2 outings but hasn't found any improvement the last twice, kept to novice company when third of 9 at Ripon (1½m) 2 weeks ago. Has something to find up in trip for handicap debut with visor applied.
Cosmo Brown (IRE)
Has made the frame all 3 starts since being gelded, doing well after making a mid-race move when fourth of 13 at Bath (13f) 11 days ago. Can make his presence felt upped further in distance.
