Timeform View

Having landed the Scottish Triumph Hurdle at Musselburgh in January, MADE U BLUSH twice shaped well in handicaps thereafter, latterly when doing best of those from off the pace when fifth in the Swinton at Haydock in the spring. This has likely been her target since and she can exploit a handy-looking mark with the prospect of more to come. This is competitive though, with Way of Stars, Gallivanted, Treasure Planet and Tenter le Tout just a quartet of others to consider.

Timeform Comments

Edelak (IRE)
Fairly useful winner on Flat who added a fifth small-field hurdles victory to his name since joining Dan Skelton at Newton Abbot (17f) in September. Possibly amiss when pulled up in stronger company at Market Rasen latest but suspicion he'll come up short again in another big-field scenario.
Glen To Glen (IRE)
Versatile sort who made a winning start for present yard over fences at Perth (2½m) in August. Low-key effort on Flat followed but quickly back on track when third back over fences at Worcester 4 weeks ago. Blinkers go back on with tongue strap added and not ruled out back over hurdles.
Mojito Des Mottes (FR)
Showed the benefit of his comeback run when running out a ready winner of 5-runner handicap at Newton Abbot (17f) in August. Posted a creditable third on back of an 8 lb rise at Plumpton (2m) subsequently and suspicion we've yet to see all he has to offer for all this is tougher.
Lord (GER)
Made it 3 wins from 4 starts in juvenile hurdles for Olly Murphy at Market Rasen last September. Improved thereafter upon joining this yard, registering success in listed company at Aintree in December. Exploits mixed thereafter, including on Flat. Market can guide now handicapping in this sphere.
Tenter Le Tout (FR)
Landed the Grade 2 Finale juvenile over C&D last Christmas. Well held in graded events at Cheltenham thereafter but capitalised on return to calmer waters when doubling her C&D tally in a mares novice in April. Feasible to think she can do better again now handicapping this season.
Made U Blush
Made a fine start over hurdles for Dan Skelton last season, completing second leg of a double in Scottish Triumph Hurdle at Musselburgh in January. Did best of those held up when fifth in Swinton Hurdle in May and this likely been her target since. Tongue strap on 1st time and she's a big player.
Treasure Planet (IRE)
Landed a Ludlow juvenile in November and placed on 3 of his 4 starts thereafter last season, posting a good second over an extended 19f in novice here in April. Still unexposed returned to handicaps on seasonal bow and he's worth a second look.
Arctic Voyage
Kingman gelding who registered a third hurdles victory in 5-runner handicap at Newton Abbot (17f) in July. Shaped as if still in good form when third over same C&D 33 days ago but his revised mark demands more now pitched in to this more competitive scenario.
The Bellhop (IRE)
Dual Fontwell juvenile hurdle winner who didn't fare at all badly when making the frame in pair of handicaps at Sandown/Ascot during the spring. Found to have finished lame when last of 5 at Plumpton a month later but others make greater appeal for win purposes in any case on return.
Way Of Stars (IRE)
Useful on Flat for Andrew Balding and cemented solid start over hurdles for new yard when landing a Taunton maiden (16.5f) in March. Didn't run much of a race tackling firmer ground on handicap debut at Sandown in April but he looks on a fair mark for return to action. Tongue strap added.
Flash Man (FR)
Confirmed opening hurdles promise when getting off the mark in a Plumpton maiden (2m) in April. Posted fair placed efforts both starts in novice hurdles thereafter and teed himself up for a tilt at this with a solid fourth on Flat at Epsom last month.
Provision
Fair maiden on the Flat and made fourth hurdles start a winning one at Worcester in July. Similar form when third under a penalty at Bangor (17f) 32 days ago, deserving of credit having been taken on for the lead. This looks a hot enough introduction to handicaps, however.
Gallivanted (FR)
Changed hands for 70,000 gns and quick to make his mark over hurdles, landing a Musselburgh maiden in February and back on the up when third on handicap bow at Ascot (15.7f) in March. Solid efforts on 2 of his 3 Flat starts thereafter and feasible to think he can do better again in this sphere.
