Preference is for UGO BINGO, who has been cut plenty of slack by the handicapper and ran well in a similar contest at Newton Abbot last time. Little Pi and Kates Choice head the list of dangers.

Ran with promise when fourth in novice hurdle at Worcester (16f) on NH debut in September of last year but not really built on that since. May do better now sent handicapping.
Kates Choice (IRE)
Ex-Irish mare who capitalised on a reduced mark to win a 7-runner handicap hurdle at Ffos Las (2½m, good to soft) in May. Posted creditable third in follow-up bid at Fontwell 3 weeks later and warrants respect on return here.
One Cool Dreamer (IRE)
No impact in a trio of starts over hurdles and been out of sorts on the Flat of late. Hard to fancy.
Little Pi (FR)
Back to winning ways over this trip at Huntingdon in February and made the frame on next 2 outings, including when respectable third of 6 in handicap hurdle at Ludlow the following month. Fairly treated on return and must enter calculations.
Midnight Pass
Runner-up in a bumper on debut last summer. Modest form over hurdles, though, and ran poorly on debut for new yard at Fontwell last month.
Sweet Honey B (IRE)
Point winner who hasn't stood much racing since a promising maiden Rules season in 2023. Offered more than on return when sixth of 10 in handicap hurdle at Worcester (2½m, good to soft, 9/1) 31 days ago but shapes as though a stiffer test of stamina would suit.
Ugo Bingo (FR)
Not scored since 2024 but has dropped to a handy mark and arrives on back of creditable third of 10 in handicap hurdle at Newton Abbot (2¼m, good to firm) 50 days ago. Yard had a winner/second from 3 runners at this meeting last year and he must enter calculations.
Italian Spirit (IRE)
Clearly been one with issues since winning bumper/maiden for Olly Murphy earlier in his career. Standout effort last season when runner-up in soft-ground handicap chase at Ffos Las in April. Hard to be confident back hurdling for yard without a win in some time.
V Power
Had a productive year on the Flat, scoring 3 times. Run poorly all 4 starts over hurdles back in 2024 but he figures off a handy mark if able to convert this year's Flat form into this sphere.
Amberelli
Steady improvement in maiden/novice company and posted respectable efforts in handicap hurdles last year, including when fourth of 8 in handicap hurdle at Stratford 16 months ago. Not seen since, though.
Makinbecon
Resumed his progress in first-time tongue tie when landing 8-runner handicap hurdle at Market Rasen in July but not really built on that since. Others appeal more. Had breathing operation.
Lady Blackmore (FR)
Runner-up both starts in Irish points but unable to trouble the judge in 4 starts over hurdles earlier this year. Can start handicapping from a lowly mark at least. Hood on first time.
Ker D'oudairies (FR)
Posted his best effort when fifth over this sort of trip at Ffos Las in November but no impact in either start subsequently and not seen since February. Others more convincing.
Deauville Lady
Well held only start in bumpers and similar story thus far over hurdles, including on handicap bow at Sedgefield in April. Makes limited appeal.
