Made winning return at Windsor in May and run creditably in defeat since, latest when third of 10 in handicap over similar trip at Chester 29 days ago, nearest finish. Not out of things.
Aequitas (FR)
Made winning debut at Hamilton before taking 4-runner novice at Ripon in September of last year. Lightly raced since and shaped as if needing the outing, back from 10 months off, when seventh of 10 in handicap at Doncaster (1½m, good to firm, 40/1) 30 days ago. This run should reveal more.
Prosperity
Looked potentially useful in landing a pair of 1m novices at Ripon and Southwell this summer and maintained her unbeaten record when making a successful handicap debut at Newmarket (1m, good to firm, 10/3) 22 days ago. This longer trip promises to suit and she remains with potential.
Room Fourteen
Made it 3-4 in handicaps when scoring over this trip at Doncaster in July and back to that sort of form when good third of 10 at Doncaster (1½m, good to firm) 30 days ago, racing closer to pace than ideal. Respected.
Withtearsinmyeyes (IRE)
Fairly useful form, placing on first 4 starts before opening account in a maiden at Ffos Las (1m, good to soft) in August. Upped her game further when landing 10-runner handicap at Sandown (1m, good to soft, 13/2) 25 days ago and is worth a crack at this longer trip. Player.
Winged One (IRE)
Successful in a 1m Newcastle novice on second of 2 outings last year. Yet to score this season and failed to improve for addition of headgear at Chester when last seen in June. Others look better treated.
Spirit Of Athene
Steadily progressive and opened account for this year at Sandown (1¼m, good) in July. Further improvement when winning 7-runner handicap (7/4) at Leicester (1¼m, good) 33 days ago and looks sure to go well again.
Oh Yes You Do (FR)
Resumed winning ways at Lingfield (1¼m) in June and bounced back from a lesser effort at Salisbury when good second at Sandown in August. May have found drop in trip against her at same course since but others are more convincing.
Wild Violet (FR)
Confirmed previous promise when opening her account at the third attempt at Salisbury in June. Ripon handicap bow was too bad to be true the following month (reported to have bled) but current mark looks harsh.
Alma Latina
Confirmed early promise when landing Pontefract maiden in June. Shaped well before failing to handle the track when third on handicap bow at Epsom (1½m) next time but has rather gone the wrong way since.
Shangri La
Still looking for first success but found improvement when good second of 8 in handicap (14/1) over longer trip at Yarmouth 25 days ago and remains low mileage. Merits consideration.
Hamdania (IRE)
Won over 7f at Wolverhampton on debut in December and was runner-up at Lingfield on first start since last month. Looked set to go close on handicap bow at Southwell before veering badly late on and may need more time/addition of headgear.
Brighton Beach (IRE)
Off the mark at third time of asking when landing the odds in game fashion at Thirsk in August and posted good third over C&D on handicap debut next time. Not in same form at Sandown latest but is in good hands and can't be ruled out.
