Timeform View

KATTY has shown the benefit of her debut effort in 2 starts since, the form of her third at the Curragh last time having been boosted by the winner, and she could be ready to get off the mark. Film Set is feared most as she drops back down in grade, ahead of Formous.

Timeform Comments

Be In Love (IRE)
€1,900,000 yearling who shaped as if needing the experience when fifth of 21 in maiden over C&D on debut last month. However, was hampered halfway when well held in valuable event at the Curragh (7f) 15 days ago. This run should reveal more.
Camhaoir (IRE)
Foaled February 18. €2,500 yearling, Dawn Approach filly. Sister to 1m-9.4f winner abroad Mezvirag. Dam, 1¼m-1½m winner, sister to smart 1m-10.7f winner (stayed 1¾m) Paene Magnus. Yard not known for winning 2-y-o newcomers.
Celine Dee
Foaled March 11. €270,000 yearling, Siyouni filly. Half-sister to 2-y-o 7f winner in France Real News. Dam, 2-y-o 6f winner, sister to very smart winner up to 7f Tasleet. Expensive purchase so she's worth a check in the market.
Chicago Blues (IRE)
Foaled April 16. Blue Point filly. Half-sister to smart 1m-10.2f winner Thunder Run. Dam 7f/1m winner out of useful 9.5f winner An Saincheann. Yard's debutants tend to be better for their first experience, though the stable did have a useful prospect win last month.
Film Set (USA)
Knew more than on debut when second in 15-runner maiden over C&D in August. Made little impression upped to Group 3 level when fifth of 8 at the Curragh (7f) 2 weeks ago, but she remains capable of better back in maiden company.
Fly Smartly (IRE)
Showed ability in maidens at this course (5f) and the Curragh (7f) on first 2 starts, but wasn't in the same form when sixth of 8 at Ayr (6f) in August. Could be in the mix back from a break.
Formous (IRE)
€360,000 2-y-o who was sent off favourite on debut, but shaped as if needing the run more than anticipated when fifth of 15 in maiden over this C&D 7 weeks ago. No surprise to see a bold showing this time around.
Imagine Glory (IRE)
Foaled April 2. Cotai Glory filly. Dam, French 7f/1m winner, half-sister to useful 7f winner Honey Girl. Trainer 0-5 with 2-y-o newcomers this season.
Ita Florence (IRE)
Attracted support on debut and offered something to work on when sixth of 16 in maiden at Gowran (7f) in September, never nearer having been very slowly away. Promises to take a step forward from that effort.
Katty (IRE)
Some encouragement on debut and has bettered that form in 2 subsequent outings, third of 13 in maiden at the Curragh (the winner runner-up in listed race next time) 15 days ago. Looks to hold strong claims.
Outside Sun (IRE)
Didn't make much impact in 2 maidens in August, eleventh of 14 at Dundalk on latest outing. Looks to be up against it.
Senuna (IRE)
Foaled April 1. €300,000 yearling, Minzaal filly. Half-sister to several winners, including smart 9.4f/1¼m winner One For Bobby and useful 5f/6f winner Lam Yai. Dam 7f/1m winner. Makes appeal on paper.
Zelente (IRE)
Has shaped as if one for further down the line in 2 maidens so far, again finishing well held when thirteenth of 21 over this C&D 24 days ago.
