Timeform View

Course winner BESET has had a relatively light campaign and was a ready winner of a similar contest at Galway last month. She may be able to follow up. In My Teens and Caught U Sleeping may provide the chief threat.

Timeform Comments

Beset
Useful mare who was returning from 4-month absence when winning 16-runner listed race (2/1) at Galway (1½m, soft) 33 days ago by 3¼ lengths from Chablis Rock. Must concede weight all round here but holds strong claims nonetheless.
Chica Guerrera (IRE)
Useful filly who scored at Down Royal in June. Upped game when second of 18 in handicap (18/1) at Leopardstown last month but needs to bounce back from a poor effort at Listowel.
Deressa (IRE)
Career best when winning 8-runner handicap over longer trip at Ballinrobe in June. Not seen since, however, and was well beaten in this event 12 months ago.
In My Teens (IRE)
Proved a different proposition upped to this trip when landing a valuable handicap at the Curragh in June. Not been seen to best effect in either start since and must be respected here.
Shaool (IRE)
Useful mare who returned to form when sixth in Galway handicap on penultimate start. Not disgraced in Blandford Stakes at the Curragh since but others appeal more.
Snapretend (IRE)
Useful filly. Hit the frame 3 times in listed/Group 3 company this season but has been below best of late, albeit she was used as pacemaker last time. Others preferred.
Caught U Sleeping (IRE)
Found improvement when winning listed race at this course in May and has performed well since, latest when creditable 1¼ lengths third of 8 in listed race (5/1) at Killarney (11f, soft) 6 days ago. Likely contender.
Acula (IRE)
Built on promising debut when landing 12-runner maiden at the Curragh (1¼m, good, 11/8) 50 days ago, suited by increase in trip. Likely more to come yet but this is much tougher.
Camino Vino (IRE)
Winning debut at Dundalk over 1m in December but not threatened since and is readily opposed here.
Capichera (IRE)
Off the mark at Pontefract (1m) in June and upped her game when third of 13 in York listed race (1½m, soft) 2 months later. Unsuited by relative emphasis on speed back in trip at Yarmouth since and better expected here.
Chablis Rock (IRE)
Limerick miaden winner who found improvement when good 3¼ lengths second of 16 to Beset in listed race (11/1) at Galway (1½m, soft) 33 days ago. Still low mileage but needs more to play a part here.
Chasing Paradise (IRE)
Won maiden at the Curragh in April and not disgraced in better company since, including back from 5 months off when respectable 7 lengths sixth of 16 to Beset in listed race at Galway (1½m, soft, 14/1) 33 days ago. Entitled to build on that.
Mawhibah (QA)
Lightly-raced filly who opened account in 21-runner maiden at Navan (1¼m, good, 8/1) 39 days ago. Likely more to come but asked a much bigger question now.
Moments Of Joy (USA)
Placed at listed/Group 3 level last year but failed to progress in early part of this season and has acted as a pacemaker more recently. Cheekpieces on first time. Others more appealing.
So Must I (IRE)
Run well in defeat the last twice, latest when good sixth of 15 in handicap at Galway 76 days ago. Up against it in this company, however.
Zadawa (FR)
In good hands and posted career best when winning 17-runner maiden (10/3) at Galway (1½m, soft) 33 days ago, readily. In deeper waters now but may well do better yet.
