Timeform View

LAUDERDALE KING has taken his form up a notch on his last 2 starts, making it back-to-back wins when scoring with a bit in hand at Listowel, and he is fancied to land the hat-trick. Next best could be Flying Fortress who has gone close at this course the last twice, with Matt Connor and Unfold also considered.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Ehteyat traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP, 25% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP on 3 of its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Pillar Of Hope
Returned to ground softer than good, opened account for the season with a comfortable success at Down Royal (13f) 2 weeks ago. Faces a tougher ask here back up 9 lb in the weights.
Mocking (IRE)
Maiden winner here (10.5f) a year ago and worked his way back to form this season when making the frame at Ballinrobe (1¼m) in June. However, after 11 weeks off he ran no sort of race at Doncaster (1½m) last month.
Ehteyat (GER)
Fairly useful winner on the Flat for current yard, landing a Listowel handicap (1¾m) last autumn. Similar form over hurdles early this year but has been struggling of late, refitted with blinkers when pulled up at Listowel 18 days ago. Has something to prove back on the level.
Rakki
Gained a first success on the Flat in handicap at Tramore (1½m) in August and ran to a similar level when 6 lengths fourth of 14 to Pillar of Hope at Down Royal (13f) 2 weeks ago. Could be in the mix for his much respected trainer.
Earthsong (IRE)
Confirmed previous form when winning 13-runner handicap at Gowran (1¾m) in May. Clearly wasn't 100% on the day at Ballinrobe the following month and hasn't been seen since. Tongue strap now fitted.
Flying Fortress
Won twice for current yard last season and arrives in good heart, narrowly denied at this course (10.5f) in June before proving himself at this trip when ¾-length fourth of 15 here 6 weeks ago. Can make his presence felt.
Lauderdale King (IRE)
Showed improved form to get off the mark in handicap at Cork (1½m) in August and made all to follow up at Listowel (1¾m) 3 weeks ago. Major player in his hat-trick bid.
Coulstys Way (IRE)
Produced a career best when winning 15-runner handicap at Galway last month and backed that up when never-nearer fourth of 12 at Bellewstown 12 days ago. Can give another good account.
Ephesus (IRE)
Ended last year out of form and hasn't fared much better this season (including over jumps), tailed off in race won by Pillar of Hope at Down Royal last time. Blinkers now the choice of headgear.
Justenzia (IRE)
Sole success came on second start for this yard at Clonmel (9.5f) over a year ago. She arrives in good form, though, faring best of those up with the pace when second of 18 at the Curragh (1¼m) 15 days ago. Cheekpieces back on.
Oh So Charming
Fairly useful winner on the Flat early in his career. Largely campaigned over hurdles for Declan Queally, winning a claiming race at Sligo in August. Fell late on at Bellewstown since and now back on the level for new yard with cheekpieces added.
Unfold (IRE)
Fairly useful form in France for A. & L. Fabre, winning a Chantilly handicap (1m) in September last year and running at least as well over 9.5f next time. Off 11 months ahead of stable debut, but he looks fairly treated based on his French form. Hood applied.
Adel (GER)
Upped in trip from 1m when winning handicap over this C&D in May. However, shaped as if amiss next time, before possibly needing the run after 9 weeks off when down the field here in August. Others more persuasive.
Matt Connor (IRE)
Rejuvenated by a change of stable last summer, winning twice over hurdles and on the level at Gowran (9.5f) in April. Travelled as well as any when making the frame at Tramore (2m) on the Flat in July and not seen to best effect in 2 starts over hurdles since. Could go well.
L'un Deux Trois (IRE)
Fitted with blinkers for the first time on the Flat, got back to winning ways at Gowran in August, though was helped by being well positioned. Failed by a long way to back that up at Listowel 3 weeks ago.
Connecteo (IRE)
Quickly left behind a lesser effort when getting off the mark in 14-runner handicap at Down Royal (11f) 2 weeks ago, form which has been working out well since. Raised 11 lb for that success, so will need to find more again up in grade.
Grann's Boy (IRE)
Proved better than ever over hurdles when landing a listed handicap at the Galway Festival this summer. Ran at least as well when second of 8 in minor event at the same course 5 weeks ago, so he looks on a handy mark back on the level with cheekpieces retained. RESERVE.
Zuzukel (FR)
Remains a maiden on the Flat/over hurdles. Some encouragement in 1¼m handicaps at the Curragh on final 2 outings last season, though was well held in maiden hurdle at Bellewstown when last seen in April. RESERVE.
