Stablemates SKI ANGEL and Royal Duke have had plenty of success at Musselburgh between them and both arrive in very good order. Marginal preference is for the 6-y-o mare, with Albegone another to consider.

Timeform Comments

Pickersgill (IRE)
Free-going sort who isn't easy to catch right. Now finds herself back on last winning mark and wasn't beaten far at Southwell on Saturday having been gambled on.
Canaria Queen
Had a productive spell between April and June, winning a trio of 5f handicaps. Runner-up 5 times this season, too though recent efforts (albeit in a higher grade) suggest she's gone off the boil.
Albegone
Three-time C&D scorer who resumed winning ways in 8-runner handicap at Pontefract last month from Jojo Rabbit. Couldn't live with that rival at Catterick 12 days ago and now 2 lb higher but he can be a factor.
Invincible Crown (IRE)
Hold-up performer who exploited a career-low mark at Newcastle and followed up despite being made to work harder under a 5-lb penalty over same C&D a week later. Better than result at Pontefract a weeks ago (denied a clear run) so remains one to be interested in.
Whiskey Kisses (IRE)
Remains a maiden but not disgraced in better handicaps than she need contest on last 2 starts. Back in her pay grade so she's expected to make her presence felt.
Lucius Aurelius
Lost his way for a period after recording a breakthrough success at Catterick in April but having dropped below that mark, he reacted well to a change to forcing tactics when third in big-field handicap at Ayr 3 weeks ago. Task is to now back that up.
Ganesha
Have to go back to March 2025 for the last time he tasted success and fitted with cheekpieces, he carried his head awkwardly when 3¾ lengths fifth of 8 to Canaria Queen over C&D in May. Off since.
Fear And Fast
Finally got off the mark after 22 starts over C&D last month with a recent breathing operation evidently helping him minus headgear. Soft ground perhaps the reason for a lesser effort at Hamilton a week later.
Sixcor
Kept busy and doubled tally for the season at Wolverhampton in August. Backward step at Newcastle 17 days ago needs casting aside.
Never Dark
Isn't the force of old but has placed in a couple of handicaps off much-reduced mark this summer. Well held in a higher grade than necessary the last twice and this a more suitable assignment.
Royal Duke
Capitalised on a much-reduced mark at Carlisle. Better than the bare result all 3 starts since, bumped several times at Hamilton so he has to be taken seriously.
With Glory (IRE)
Runner-up in novice at Musselburgh on final 2-y-o start for Iain Jardine but little encouragement for current yard this year.
Ski Angel
Free-going, 3-time C&D winner and has threatened to add to that in recent weeks, runner-up twice in cheekpieces, latterly behind Fear And Fast. Expected to be bang there again.
Kyber Crystal (IRE)
C&D winner but twelve runs since last success at Pontefract in September 2025. Recent efforts hardly inspiring.
