KELPIE GREY arrives in good form, looking unfortunate possibly not to have won when meeting trouble over C&D last time, so he gets the vote from his much-reduced mark. He is taken to reverse the placings with Monhammer and Rwenearlytheredad from when the trio met here 12 days ago.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Pallas Lord traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP on 2 of its last 5 starts: Kelpie Grey traded at 25% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP twice on 3 of its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Monhammer
5-time C&D winner with 3 of those victories coming this season, including when scoring by ¾ length from Rwenearlytheredad 12 days ago (Kelpie Grey in third). Can be thereabouts once more.
Rwenearlytheredad
From his reduced mark, turned in best effort of the season when ¾-length second of 11 to Monhammer over this C&D 12 days ago. Has had a light campaign so far with only the 4 starts, so he enters calculations.
Jkr Cobbler (IRE)
Notched a fifth success at Ayr in July. Hasn't been in quite the same form since, though wasn't seen to best effect when 5¾ lengths ninth of 11 to Monhammer over this C&D last time. Remains on a handy mark based on last season's form.
Real Jack
Returned to form this season when runner-up at Catterick last month. However, he failed to repeat that effort in first-time visor when fourth of 10 at Thirsk 6 days later. Headgear soon discarded and drops in grade here at least.
Kelpie Grey
Has benefited from the fitting of a visor of late with placed efforts on his last 3 starts. Denied a clear run when 1½ lengths third of 11 to Monhammer over this C&D last time, finishing with running left, so he looks ready to get back to winning ways.
Pallas Lord (IRE)
Winner at Newcastle in February and has made the frame twice on turf since. However, after 4 months off he ran poorly when well held in race won by Monhammer here 12 days ago.
Ramon Di Loria (IRE)
Back-to-back winner at Wolverhampton in February and returned to a similar level with 3 placed efforts this summer, including a close third over C&D in June. Found run of good form coming to a halt when last of 6 at Ayr 12 weeks ago.
Archangel Josepi (IRE)
Still looking for a breakthrough victory but placed twice at Newcastle early this year, beaten only by an improver over 7f in March. Well below form at Kempton next time, though, and absent 6 months since ahead of first run since leaving Brian Ellison.
Keep Me Stable (IRE)
Recorded a hat-trick at this venue last summer, scoring twice over C&D. Has been below form of late, but did fare a bit better than last few starts when 4¼ lengths sixth of 11 to Monhammer here last time. Task is now to build on latest effort.
Willowinghurn
Second of 2 wins in 2025 came over this C&D around a year ago. Hasn't been able to match that form this season, though was possibly stretched by the trip when last of 10 at Beverley (8.5f) on latest outing.
Mrbluesky (IRE)
Fair form at best for Richard Fahey, but after 11-month absence he offered little in 2 starts at Newcastle for current yard in September. Switches back to cheekpieces having been tried in a hood last time.
