Timeform View

AXEL BLEUE is yet to run a bad race at Worcester and can land a third C&D handicap of the campaign, still looking on a fair mark having finished with running left at Uttoxeter last time. Big Cadillac and Island Bridge are a couple of interesting runners going chasing for the first time.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Axel Bleue traded at more than 10 times Betfair SP and 2 times Betfair SP when winning on 2 of its last 5 starts: Muskoka traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP twice and 50% or less of Betfair SP on 3 of its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Happy And Fine (FR)
Ended a losing run at Warwick (3m) on New Year's Eve and completed for the first time since at Chepstow when last seen in April. This track shouldn't put too much emphasis on his sketchy jumping and he's not without a chance on his return under good conditional.
Sunshine Diamond (IRE)
Two-time 3m novice winner over hurdles in 2024 and was in good form in handicaps when last seen. Bred to do just as well over fences and worth a look on reappearance.
Top Guy (IRE)
Irish point winner who scored twice in staying handicap hurdles last season and was going the right way in the spring. Should make his mark over fences, although Harry Skelton has seemingly plumped for Big Cadillac here.
Island Bridge (IRE)
Placed in a bumper and fair form when reaching the frame in maiden/novice hurdles at up to 3m last season. Will need to jump better than he did when last seen at Chepstow now chasing on return though yard should have him ready and he's interesting.
Big Cadillac (IRE)
Beat now useful Gentleman Toboot on bumper debut but didn't fulfil his potential over hurdles last season. Stoutly-bred point winner could come into his own now going chasing, however, and he looks the stable first string on jockey bookings.
Muskoka (IRE)
Fair chaser who won at Hereford (25f) in December 2024 and responded well to a visor when second at Ascot/Wincanton last season. On a fair mark on return for in-form stable.
Axel Bleue
Had a fine summer here, winning a couple of C&D handicaps (latest after a breathing operation). Caught too far back and didn't jump too well at Uttoxeter last time (finished with running left) and likely to go close back at this venue.
Jiair Madrik (FR)
Landed a hat-trick of 2½m wins at Uttoxeter and this track earlier this season. Revised mark didn't look beyond him at Bangor last time (again ran well from the front back from 9 weeks off). This step up in trip isn't certain to suit, however.
