STARBURSTER finished fourth in a race that has thrown up winners on debut and she built on that effort following 3 months off when opening her account at Newbury 7 weeks ago. The runner up that day has tasted success twice since and with further progress beckoning, she makes plenty of appeal on nursery debut. Innichen will likely find this less demanding than his latest Doncaster assignment and is a threat, with Minzelle and Siouxperb completing the dangers.

Gladys Pugh could be expected to race prominently. Of those in the front half of the betting forecast, Starburster might be well positioned in a slowly run affair: Of the better-fancied horses, Innichen is most likely to be ridden furthest from the pace.

Justified cramped offs on debut at Yarmouth (6f) in the spring. Best effort since when second in a C&D novice in July and having been over faced in Group 3 company next time, he had soft ground as an excuse on nursery debut at Ayr (6f) 24 days ago. Eased 2 lb ahead of this.
Treasurer (IRE)
Showed improved form when making it third time lucky in a Salisbury novice (6f) in June. Hasn't scaled same heights in stronger affairs since, latterly when eighth in valuable sales race at the Curragh (6.3f) 4 weeks ago. This more suitable now handicapping with cheekpieces retained.
Innichen (ITY)
Registered back-to-back wins at Pontefract/Nottingham before an eye-catching third in strong Goodwood nursery in July. Not discredited from career-high mark on last 2 starts, latterly when sixth at Doncaster (6f) 31 days ago and this looks a little less demanding. Cheekpieces on.
Starburster (IRE)
Fourth on debut at Windsor in June before narrowly winning a maiden at Newbury 7 weeks ago. The form of her win has been strengthened by the second winning twice since and she's an appealing candidate now handicapping for yard enjoying a very good season with their 2-y-os.
Minzelle (IRE)
Confirmed debut promise in 8-runner maiden at Catterick in June. Not yet matched that form in trio of starts since, latterly when fourth of 7 in nursery at Southwell (5f) 4 days ago. Needs to step up again but too soon to be writing her off given stable she represents.
Blazing Inferno (IRE)
Created a good impression in making a winning start in 11-runner novice at Carlisle (6f, good to firm) on debut in August, doing well to come off a steady pace. Not ideally drawn when down the field in Doncaster sales race since and he could yet resume progress now handicapping.
Gladys Pugh (IRE)
Mehmas filly who was much improved from debut when second of 6 in novice at York (6f, good to firm) in July. However, yet to replicate that in 2 subsequent outings, well held facing softer ground than previously on nursery debut at Ayr (6f) 24 days ago. Could bounce back on tapeta debut.
