Much improved when getting off the mark in 7f maiden here in January and followed up on handicap debut over C&D the following month. Shaped well taking on older rivals for the first time when fourth at Windsor last month after 7 months off. One to be interested in.
Espanita (IRE)
Successful 3 times this year, twice over 7f at Wolverhampton and adding to her tally at Lingfield (1m) in September. Close runner-up on last 2 starts and should remain competitive.
Goomah (IRE)
Left Miss Natalia Lupini and improved when third of 10 in handicap at Kempton (1m, 5/1) 19 days ago, keeping on well under hands-and-heels riding. Makes tapeta debut and any positive market vibes should be noted.
Second Fiddle (IRE)
5-time C&D winner who found run of in-the-frame efforts come to an end in soft ground 12-runner handicap at Ayr 25 days ago. Can't be ignored back round here.
Sailor's Return
Off the mark at fifth attempt for David O'Meara when winning at Southwell in August. Shaped very well when neck second of 10 to Dalamara over C&D 11 days ago, not ideally placed in modestly-run race. Has to be taken seriously in bid to go one better.
Silky Lass
C&D novice winner in February and generally maintained form for former yard after. However, has been well beaten on last 2 starts, latest at Southwell on debut for new yard, and has a bit to prove at present.
Amber Hamur (IRE)
Much improved following switch to Ed Bethell, landing back-to-back 1m handicaps at Hamilton/Ripon in the summer. Shaped as if still in good form when fifth of 10 in handicap (10/3) at Beverley (8.5f, good to firm) 20 days ago, making effort earlier than ideal. Respected.
Leelawadee
Showed improved form making handicap debut when second of 4 at Thirsk in July, going close to reeling in one who had the run of the race. Well held both starts since and is hard to make a case for as a result.
Bay Dream Believer (IRE)
Bagged handicaps at Pontefract in June and Nottingham in July. Placed twice at Redcar since but ran below form there last time. Is yet to prove effective on all-weather and can be passed over, even off this lower mark.
Carmel Valley (IRE)
Made a promising start for this yard when switched to front-running tactics and finishing placed in back-to-back handicaps at Ayr in July. Not in same form since and bounce back required on all-weather debut.
Sassy Glory (IRE)
All 3 successes have come over C&D, including twice this season. Quickly back to form when second of 9 in handicap at Redcar (1¼m, good to soft, 12/1) 9 days ago. Place claims.
