THELASTHIGHKING clearly hasn't been the easiest to train given his infrequent appearances but the form of his Kempton fourth back in the spring is solid and resuming from a break with his yard having typically made a good start this autumn, this could be the time to catch him (gone well fresh). Move With The Beat is fancied to come on for his Fontwell reappearance 10 days ago and is the danger.

10-y-o who has been very lightly raced since landing back-to-back 2m handicap chases in 2023. Shaped as if retaining ability after 16 months off when fourth at Kempton (2¼m) in March (solid form) and likely he's been well prepared for this with yard having made typically good start to the campaign.
Palamon (IRE)
Successful from 3 lb lower at Bangor (2½m) in March. Looked to be building up to something initially this summer before a less convincing display (slow away/jumped left at times) when fifth at Worcester (2½m) 18 days ago. Cheekpieces back on and clearly capable if putting it all together.

Notched 2½m handicap chase double last summer. Began present campaign with 3 solid runner-up efforts at up to 23f before running an uncharacteristically flat race at Fontwell (19.5f) 3 weeks ago. Appeals as the type to bounce back quickly.

Impressive all-the-way winner of a Worcester maiden hurdle on stable debut last summer and back in similar heart when making the frame in handicaps this season. Has yet to convince in 2 starts over fences in recent weeks, though it remains early days.
